What makes a great website?
A great website is a website which achieves it's goals set by the business. If the business needs more leads, then the website should be successful in converting leads from Search engines and other marketing methods. If a business wants to sell product online, a successful website will be one that goes further than a pretty design. It should focus on usability and upselling methods should be built in.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
We love to ask the client what a successful website for their business would like. It's so easy to approach a website as simply a product that needs to be built but that's just not the case. If a client needs a website, there is a business goal which has inspired them to get in touch with a Digital professional. If the web designer doesn't know what the website should achieve, then how can the project ever be a successful?
We also ask a ton of questions about the Business and what they do? Again, it's about understanding the clients business and it's customers so they can be targeted effectively.
What do you love most about your job?
Creativity.
I love to come up with solutions to a problem and I love even more to be able fix those problems. When I can create a product for a customer which solves their problems, it gives me immense satisfaction. I am also a tech geek at heart so being able to spend my days designing and building the web makes me happy!
What inspired you to start your own business?
Again, it comes down to being able to solve problems with creative solutions. I have found that traditional web development jobs tend to be very focused on making a website as quickly and efficiently as possible. That's not what I'm about.
Why should our clients choose you?
We are more than web designers and while we do love to make pretty digital products, we don't believe that simply creating websites does our clients any good.
