My now husband and I found Kate through Instagram using the location filter of our reception venue. From the very first inquiry email, Kate was responsive, engaging, and personable. She has very competitive pricing and was worth every cent. She was very flexible scheduling our engagement session and maintained frequent contact with us in the months and weeks leading up to our wedding. We are in love with both our engagement photos and our wedding photos and will treasure them for years to come. Kate and her husband took beautiful photos, were easy to work with, and made great guests the day of our wedding. Our review is long overdue! We were lucky enough to have known people who used Kate for their engagement and wedding photos. After seeing how beautiful and natural looking they were, we knew we wanted to have Kate as our photographer to capture our special moments. We were nervous for our engagement photos, as my husband and I had never taken photos like that before but Kate made both of us feel comfortable right away and even allowed us to bring our four-legged child with us to join in some. The wedding day can be so stressful, but Kate was very organized with every step along the way and had everything planned so well that we could enjoy ourselves the entire day. We had two requests for our photographer; to maintain a respectful way throughout the Church ceremony and to capture candids of our guests enjoying the party and Kate did a wonderful job of meeting both! You can’t go wrong by hiring Kate. She was timely, professional, and creative but she also let us lead some shots we wanted done, which other photographers won’t. The finished products have blown me away and we received our wedding pictures so quickly! She even sent us a personalized USB of our photos with our names on it. So thoughtful! Kelly and I have known Kate for a couple years now and we have used her for every event from yearly family photos to our engagement and wedding. Kate has a great sense for the environment she is taking pictures and has a pleasant way of distracting a child to stay out of a picture or engaging them to smile at the camera. One of the biggest things I appreciate most is her ability to blend in and not be intrusive but still capture each aspect of an event. I’ve dealt with quite a few photographers and I’m not a fan when they take away from the actual moment in order to get the perfect shot.
