Kandis was very promp responding to my inquiry to book her for a birthday photoshoot. She was always professional when communicating in person or through email/text.
Very thorough with any questions I had about the detailed of my booking and pictures. When we arrived for the shoot she greeted us with a warm spirit, making you immediately feel comfortable. I also admired how patient she was with my son as kids do not always cooperate. She was very attentive to small detail I wouldve never thougth of (i.e m headphone around my neck, my missing earing or "my good side"). My pictures were beautiful and she returned then in a timely mannner.
Hands down I would recommend her to family and friends.

The secret is, that there is no secret! Lighting does, however play a huge part in all pictures!
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
Depending on what the project is, I may ask things like:
Is there a particular look you're going for?
What statement are you trying to make?
Is there any key individuals you want me to capture?
Is there any particular timing you prefer?
What are your ideas for this project?
Are you open to letting me be a little creative?
Do you require anything of me, such as props, studio, or backdrop?
How fast do you need these pictures back?
What do you love most about your job?
What I love most about my job is that there is no rules! Most customers like to have something different and creative!
What inspired you to start your own business?
I have always had a passion and love for photography but growing up I was always told that it was just a hobby. My parents were brought up in a different era, and I don't think that they realized how much some things had changed. I started my own business because I loved photography that much, and really wanted to do something that would not only leave a lasting impression on my clients but also would leave a legacy for future generations. I have always been self motivated and creative, so I figured I would go into business for myself and have some fun with what I was doing!
