Previous review is regarding JW Gardening Hazel Grove Stockport.

My mum recently used JW Gardening and he had quoted her £170 to come and do the front and back garden. We did feel this was steep but she just wanted to have the gardens looking neat and tidy. When he arrived my mum felt he was quite intimidating and abrupt. The first question he asked my mum is did she live alone which immediately made her uncomfortable. He then went on to make recommendations of things that were not needed. When he said he had finished my mum said she thought that there were things that hadn't been done which he made excuses for. There was a large amount of green waste dumped in one of the flower beds as the green bin was full. My mum wanted the boarders turning over and de-weeding and his answer to this was using a jet wash which then snapped plants that she already had. He wanted to used weed killer but my mum advised that she has two cats and wasnt comfortable with this in which his reply was you'll need to send them elsewhere for 24hours. She was stunned but reluctantly paid as she just wanted it all over and he immediately left. At this point my mum was extremely upset and disappointed and felt as though she had been taken advantage of. A member of the family then arrived to have a look at the work he had done and rang him to query the price and asked him to break the price down so we had more of an understanding of the logic behind his work. At which point the gardener became aggressive and began swearing down the phone.He then told the family member that he would drive back to the property so they could 'deal with it man to man' then he hung up. My sister then rang him to find out what had gone and and to try and resolve the situation he then denied ever coming to the property to do any work. The level of professionalism was absolutely shocking to us all. I would reccomend that everyone just be vigilant and do your research before having any service coming to YOUR home. This has most definitely been a lesson learnt for us as a family. More...

Will defiantly be using jw landscapes again amazing job needed small job doing straight away couldn’t find nobody else who would do a small thanks jw landscapes for taking care of it :)
