Julia Yearwood is a child and family counsellor, working with children and their families since 1991, first as a teacher then as a counsellor. Julia’s practice is systemic in nature; believing that to bring about a positive change in one’s life, whether a child or adult, you must also support the family, educational setting, community, etc.

Children and young people's counselling
A safe and confidential space for a child or young person to receive support in making sense of and working through difficult experiences and feelings. Talking, creative work and imaginative play can provide a safe way in which to express what is on your mind and things which you cannot make sense of on your own.
A safe space to explore the dynamics of the family unit and any issues which may be impacting all or some of the relationships within the family. The family counsellor will work with the family by encouraging each member to understand their needs and empathise with each other.
