We called Joe to ask for a quote to reshape our hedge and cut back the trees. When he turned up he was very polite and listened to what we were hoping to achieve. He then provided us with solutions based on his years of experience so we knew what to expect (this is a very big hedge that needed cutting back and fully reshaping) we were happy with his quote and he got to work with his employee Earl. They were very efficient, friendly and clean. Using professional equipment they chipped and removed all the waste and made light work of things that I wouldn't have even attempted. Came to chop up and remove a tree that had already fallen down. Tree was average size. Didn't take them long to complete the job. Until we realised that the job was not complete. They did NOT take any of the logs they said they would and not only this they LEFT SOME OF THE LOGS IN THE NEIGHBOURS GARDEN. Keep in mind this neighbour had nothing to do with the tree. They thought they could simply toss the logs in hidden places. Really disappointed they seemed like good workers to begin with. We've been trying to get them to collect the logs they left. They have admitted that it was their problem and will come to remove them. We are still waiting. It's a shame because initially we were pleased with the speed of the work. But they turned out to be quite money grabbing. WONT BE BACK. More...

Came to grind down some very tough tree stumps. They have the right equipment to get through narrow access to be able to tackle even the biggest tree stumps. The tree stumps were ground down to the ground and we are blown away with the results. Had many other people quote who didn’t have the right tools and who c said they couldn’t grind it down to ground level. Thanks so much. We now have so much more flat space to put a new garden shed. Needed 3 conifers removing from the end of the garden. Awkward position as they backed right up to my neighbours driveway but for Joe and his team this was no problem. Joe responded quickly on the day I phoned. He arrived and immediately identified that my silver birch tree had died - no foliage to be seen - and of serious risk of falling over. (It had been like that for the last few years.) He gave me a quote and arranged for the tree to be felled there and then. 100% first class hard working and respectful team that take pride in exceeding customer expectations and delivering top quality workmanship using top quality materials. Joe quoted a price to replace our fence (6x5 foot panels) including removal of existing and replacing concrete godfathers and gravel boards. He also agreed to take overhanging trees from neighboring garden back to building line. Originally quoted as a one day job; it turned into a day and a half of very hard work for Danny & Liam with Joe chipping in on more than one occasion (don't think that was in the original quote either!). They had to dig out significant tree roots and very compacted soil in order to deliver a quality product. AND BOY WHAT A RESULT! The fence is arrow-straight and even all the way down. Joe noticed a crack in one of the gravel boards (I didn't even see it until Joe pointed it out) and a replacement gravel board was immediately delivered. They even accommodated a late change requested by our neighbor, even though it was not strictly speaking a part of the job. All for the same price! Not a penny requested up front. All rubbish removed, patio swept and left as it was found. Has made a massive positive change to our rear vista and we can't wait for the weather to improve so we can sit and admire our new fence-line! Think it is important to mention that Joe's was by no means the most expensive quote we received either. We are looking to relay our patio and re-landscape our rear garden in the next 12 months - there is only one company we will be contacting... J & SON! More...
