Julie is amazing. My mom graduated from college and we wanted to remember this awesome accomplishment with beautiful photos. Though my mom worked really hard she has a hard time being in the spotlight and does not like taking photos. Julie made the photo shoot very relaxing and fun. Honestly, words cannot express how happy I am with Julie (JR Anderson Photography)!!! Her work speaks for itself!! I met with a few other vendors before choosing her. I had face-to-face meetings and went through other professional catalogs. None compared to Julie! lol I came back to her like "Please, still be available!!!" lol and luckily she was! Sure, you may find someone "cheaper" but then you'll get back all your photos auto-adjusted mailed back to you in an album, with no life!! When I opened my wedding gallery up it took me and my husband back to that night!! I didn't notice Julie and her assistant photographer there the whole night.... but we looked through the gallery like, "OMG HOW DID SHE CATCH THAT MOMENT" or "OMG DO YOU REMEMBER THAT!" Seriously!! And for her quality of work, she should really be charging more!! You can't really beat her quality of work for her prices. I felt lucky to find her! When you meet Julie she puts off instant good vibes and she's very professional. We texted for any details or questions prior to the wedding... she responds quickly and doesn't give you any worry! Even when it came down to the engagement photos, I was blown away. You can tell she has mastered her craft of photography! :)

After all my searching and meeting with different photographers to hire for my wedding... I found Julie! Her photos set her aside from the others for me. She has a beautiful, soft, artistic touch on her photos. It's not just "auto adjust" if you know what I mean! lol I just got back the shots from our engagement photo shoot and I'm soooo happy. I knew they would be good but WOW. Julie is easy to talk to about your ideas or weather situations that might hinder a shoot! We had to reschedule a couple times due to her honesty about the weather and how it might affect our photo shoot... which I really appreciate! My wedding is in September and I can't wait to see what she shoots then! Honestly, I rarely write reviews but I had to this time. You won't regret hiring Julie! Julie has taken my family's holiday pictures for the past two years.  This year, my two year old was sick the day we took pictures and it was extremely difficult to get him to smile.  Because Julie was unable to get a good picture with him smiling, she offered to do a quick reshoot at a later date.  She got beautiful pictures in every setting she had us in.  She does wonderful work.  We definitely plan on having Julie take our pictures next year. I have nothing but praise for the quality of the images and professionalism we experienced working with Julie.  I found her work on-line when looking for someone to take some family portraits.  Julie was very accommodating when scheduling both the location and time of the shoot and delivered the images faster than promised. We were working in an outdoor location with my wife, myself and our three children (one toddler, who listens and takes directions about as well as toddlers do), in somewhat windy conditions but she nailed every shot and knew how to keep things moving and focused without sacrificing a wonderful (but not over-done) artistic flair.  Polite, friendly, professional and creative... exactly what I was looking for. I think a lot of people call themselves a photographer nowadays, but Julie was just AMAZING! If you're looking for a photographer that shoots the moment as opposed to the standard photos, you have found her! I can't tell you just how happy we are with the photographs of our daughter's Bat Mitzvah and the party that followed (not to mention the bus ride with the kids! ). While Julie will give you as many standard photos as you want, please let her do what she does best. Her experience as a photojournalist and ability to capture that moment shows in every photo.
