I had a known issue with rusting struts on my FTO. Had a rough quote from a local welding company of 2/3 days work at £1000, which I thought was ridiculous.
I was given John's number from local Bournemouth/Poole car club on Facebook. John saw photos of the car and what was needed and quoted me £200 for the work.
I got the car to John in the morning and thought it would be a 2 day job. John cut out all the rusted metal and welded in new metal plates, all in the same day.
He took photos to keep me updated on his progress. Couldn't ask for more.
I'll be using John again for any future welding needs and recommending him to everyone I know.
