I cannot recommend Kate enough! She did an incredible job at sorting out my garage (which was long overdue and in a state! ). I kept on trying not to think of my garage and putting it at the bottom of my to do list, but after a visit from Kate she was able to form an action plan and executed it with grace and efficiency! She made it look so easy. She even took the liberty of taking my unwanted items to either the waste site or the charity shop. What a service! Kate is simply awesome! We had a garage with years of junk piled up in it, and didn't know where to start from. She came in, sorted out what can be reused, recycled, or thrown out, took everything that needs dumping to the skip herself, and helped massively in tidying up our garage efficiently and neatly. Kate was so great when she came round and helped us fully get on top of our paperwork. She knows all those bits of information like how long financial documents need to be kept and the best way to keep them, suggestions on how many of your kids ‘works of art’ to keep and how to store them, what to do with that pile of papers that just end up being moved from place to place around the kitchen surfaces. Kate was amazing. She came round twice and was straight on it. The first time it felt like our house was so out of control I didn’t know where to suggest we start, so she suggested clothes, wardrobe and drawers. It was amazing within half an hour I could actually see light in my wardrobe and felt a weight lift from my shoulders. The second time, I’d given it more thought and I knew that paperwork was the real stumbling block for us and in this area Kate was awesome. She knew how long things needed to be kept and what could be safely be thrown away and what needed shredding. As well as financial paperwork she gave really good advise on sentimental stuff, and how to judge what to keep. Then on top of that she even had top tips for that pile of paperwork that always ends up on your work surface being shifted from one place to the next.Honestly she’s worth her weight in gold. If like me you’re struggling knowing where or how to begin decluttering your home, I’d definitely recommend getting Kate round. Rearing my head after the toddler days left me looking round to a landscape of clutter. It was so daunting - especially the paperwork. Kate is hands on, she’s speedy, she’s efficient, she’s knowledgeable, she’s friendly and she’s discreet plus she’s helped me catch the de-cluttering bug. I love it. I can thoroughly recommend this decluttering service. Kate is happy to take on small or large projects and really helped me focus on what is important. She works efficiently and sensitively, achieving such a lot in a small amount of time. Kate was able to look at my possessions objectively and enabled me to assess them with fresh eyes. She is keen to recycle and support charities rather than landfill. Kate also suggested creative ideas to use and celebrate the things I wanted to keep, she was keen to help me preserve memories rather than clutter.
