My husband and I met Jon and Zara 6.24.19 when we got engaged at the Angel Oak tree in South Carolina. They were there filming another couple, and serendipitously happened upon our engagement.
They came up, introduced themselves, and offered to shoot an engagement video- for FREE! I asked them how I could pay them in some way, and Jon responded “oh, you can just pay us when you hire us.” I thought to myself, how bold!
We had NO idea what we were in for. 24 hours later, they had our engagement video emailed to us, and it was absolutely perfect. It was a 60 second highlight of our engagement, and something we will treasure forever.
After this encounter, we knew they were a staple in our wedding. There was no way we could do it without them there. So, from there our planning started! We contacted them through email, and they sent us our info to select our package. We began the payment schedule, and before we knew it, our wedding day was here!!
Jon and Zara arrived earlier than planned. They were there even before we arrived (though I was late-per my usual fashion. Ha!)
We were so excited to work with them. The process was seamless; they are EXTREMELY professional and absolutely spectacular at what they do. They worked in conjunction with our photographer effortlessly, getting in every shot they needed without ever feeling like we were getting pulled in two different directions at once.
Zara was there to ensure we were hydrated the entire time, she even has a little apron with the JWM logo on it, that keeps drinks/lipstick/necessities you may need throughout the day.
They are truly rock stars. It was a blessing to have them be apart of our most special day, and they made the day even better than we expected.
They’ve always been incredible with communication, professionalism, and flexibility. We had a few last minute change ups day of, and they were more than willing to work with us.
Our video came last night, and W O W... we expected it to be amazing, but it was even better than we ever dreamed of. They included our engagement video in the beginning of the video(wedding movie) so that we could reminisce on all that was this whole process. Our video came beautifully packaged, complete with 2 Polaroid photos of us on our day, a hand written card, mini bottle of champagne, and the best freaking garlic popcorn I’ve EVER had in my life- and it’s NC based! Our flash drive is a gorgeous translucent glass/clear plastic type material with the JWM logo on it, and came in a wooden holding box for safe keeping.
Y’all, I literally can’t say enough incredible things about Jon and Zara. If you’re looking for a videographer to go above and beyond, making sure every little detail is perfect- you’ve found it here. Hire them, you will not be disappointed.

They make a point to make each wedding video so personal, and I truly don't believe they could have captured our story any better. Working with Jon and Zara was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. They are such a fun couple and every single wedding video they make is better than the one before.
Our wedding video was not only amazingly done, but it was delivered in such a timely manner. We got our 1 minute highlight video within 24 hours of the wedding, the 5 minute video within 2 weeks, and the 60 minute full video within 3 weeks. They surprised us by showing up at our house delivering the final video in an carved wooden box with an engraved USB drive, along with wine. Everything from the communication, to the fast turnaround time, to the presentation was spectacular. We are so thankful to have the videos to watch for the rest of our lives and relive the day over and over again! Thank you SO much, Jon and Zara!

We had a lot of indecisiveness on whether to hire a videographer for our big day due to finances, but we luckily made it work and will never regret making the decision to hire Jon Warlick. Their attention to detail and passion for their work is so evident in their product. They also did a great job of being behind the scenes and making you feel like you’re not constantly on camera.
