About

Chiropractic using the McTimoney method is a gentle, effective technique which is used to help with a range of complaints including back pain, neck pain and headaches. Using gentle, precise adjustments, your chiropractor’s aim is to optimise the function of the nervous system by working with the muscular and skeletal systems in order to aid recovery, optimise movement and reduce pain.

Q&As

I love working as a chiropractor as it enables me to help people to get back to doing the things they enjoy in life. Being able to reduce pain and help people return to their jobs and hobbies is a fantastic feeling. When people come in and tell me how much better they are feeling makes my job a very worthwhile thing to do.
The McTimoney approach to chiropractic is gentle and versatile, which means that it can be adapted to suit a wide range of people, from children through to those in their later years.

I was inspired to become a chiropractor after receiving chiropractic care myself. I had a riding accident which injured my back and during the course of treatment I also found that chiropractic helped significantly reduce my headaches (which surprised me at the time). I wanted to be able to help others in the same way that chiropractic had helped me!

I spend time with each person I meet to carefully understand what it is that could be causing their pain or discomfort. I aim, not only to reduce peoples' pain, but to prevent pain from re-occurring. This means that I may look at other factors in their life that could be contributing to their pain (this could be a repetitive action they are doing at work or during a sport/hobby) and advise them so that they can help to manage these areas.
