So happy with my John Moore service at my home today. I called yesterday and was able to get an appointment the following day on a Saturday. I requested a master plumber for my service as I had used another company previously, and we did not seem to cure the problem. The John Moore Services Journeyman Plumber, Russell Herd, who came to our home today is simply AMAZING! If I could give him 6 stars I would. He was timely, polite, and explained to me in terms that I could understand his diagnosis and recommendation options. He's like a teacher who comes to the house! Excellent service by Tom Lee today! Called this morning and in less than three hours the Field Supervior, Tom, was at our door. He spent over four hours here and thoroughly diagnosed and corrected our issue. Can’t go a day without AC in Houston in the summer... so we are so thankful someone came so quickly and was able to leave our house with cold air blowing. So very thankful and appreciative!!!! After two days of trying to figure out why our AC was not working we called to get someone out to look at it. John Moore Services answered the phone and got us an appointment as soon as possible. I may be the luckiest man so far. Not only did I go through needing to renovate ans repair my home due to being flooded. My luck came in small miracles, none of which came from FEMA or SBA loan office but from people like my contractors and John Moore Services. Romain was awesome. Took care of the necessary work, found and recommended other work needed, and took care of that too. My impression came from him taking pictures of before and after the job, and he did great. I called John Moore for help with an electrical issue in my home and have found my electricians for life! An appliance repairman had told me my dishwasher was getting no power from the electric outlet in my new residence. Michael Gustafson was professional, fast, and logical as he worked through the possible causes and tracked down the problem to loose wires in the breaker box. I was pleased to pay the very reasonable charge. He took the time to explain the cause of issues I was having with a remote controlled ceiling fan, and made suggestions I could consider for a future time with no hard sell pressure. John C. came out to our home to fix what I thought was a plumbing issue. He quickly identified that the issue was with the roof rather than plumbing. From there he quickly got a hold of someone in their renovations department. In about 20 minutes he had us scheduled for a same day appointment to get the roof taken care of. Sky was friggin' awesome. My power was off and he was still able to professionally spot the issue with my A/C. He fixed the issue within 3 minutes. John Moore always gets it right! They stand behind their work and get the job done quickly. When you have an older home it needs repairs and code updates for you safety and comfort. John Moore gives you options and explains what repairs are needed in writing so you can make an informed decision. They show up on time, but most importantly I trust the work they do. If they see something that does not look right they bring it to your attention. We have been using John Moore for a long time and turn to them for all our home repairs. Yes we have used other contractors in the past and have wasted thousands of dollars and experienced nightmarish work with long delays. Everything from serious non-code electrical work to unlicensed plumbing repairs. John Moore has fixed the mess other contractors created. Contractors will say they are licensed plumbers or electricians but send a crew to you house that obviously is guessing at the electrical and plumbing work. John Moore Services Electrician, Joshua Davis, provided electrical troubleshooting at my home today. He arrived on time, was very professional and despite a very elusive and difficult troubleshooting effort requiring over 4-1/2 hours, he never lost focus or his temperament. Joshua still needs to return to further troubleshoot, verify the appropriate fix and then make those repairs but I must praise John Moore Services for providing such an outstanding professional electrician and ambassador for the company in Joshua. Our experience was AMAZING! Mike & Sidney were far beyond customer service orientated, they have a true love for their profession and compassion for their clients. All of this occurred the day before Thanksgiving and they worked 9/10 hours to ensure we weren't left without power for 4-5 days because the City and Utility Companies were closed. The guided us in the whole process of communicating with our PUC and what needed to be said to make them realize we were in a hazardous situation & had a medical necessities. They made sure the City authorized and released the permitting quickly. Mike was even able to see at one point my husband was overloading me with questions while I was taking care of business on the phone and redirected him professionally, ensuring my husband I could answer when I was done, so I didn't have a meltdown. Their work was fantastic! They were efficient, thorough and their cleanliness in work/clean up superb. Sidney and Mike were an excellent team who genuinely seemed to enjoy working together. Their expertise in being electricians was only a part of who they truly were. Their respect for us, our property and situation was beyond any consideration ever received from a Contractor before. What can I say? The representative that came out to address my water heater problem was fast, efficient, friendly, informative and encouraging. I l use the word encouraging because from the moment I open the door, he immediately set out to put my mind at ease by telling me “ whatever the problem I’m pretty sure we can get it taken care “! The plumbing technician, Derrik M., who came out was extremely nice, courteous and professional.

He took his time to explain the issue and treatment plan and even gave us some privacy to discuss how we wanted to proceed.

He completed the work and walked is through it all even giving us a few tips and called in a referral to ensure all aspects of our a/c unit was looked at.

Unfortunately, the technician after him wasn't as pleasant but just as professional.

We do have a 30 day guarantee but so far so good and if we do have an issue I'd definitely request the first technician, Derrick M. More...
