This company is exemplary in the field of customer care and technical knowledge of televisions. The gentleman was extremely well mannered, so patient when listening to my description of the technical problems. I took our TV in because it had suddenly stopped working. I knew of the business but had never used them before. As soon as I walked through the door I received a friendly welcome. I was told that there would be no charge to investigate the fault which is most unusual these days and a pleasant return to the old days! It was suggested that while I filled in the form with my details, they would take a quick look at the problem. The fault was immediately recognised and put right. Like many things in life, it's easy if you know what you are doing which I didn't! There was no charge so I walked out a happy man with a mended set. Very impressive customer service. More...

I disconnected the T V from Sky and tried to retune to normal DTV but it would not change from analogue to digital reception. Spoke to many experts who all concluded it was a hardware problem or it could not receive a digital signal. Even Toshiba help line (after waiting 45 minutes) said it was broken and offered no advise. I had never heard of John Littler before but left it at the shop at 3.00 on Wednesday and received a call at 10.00 the following day to say it was fixed. They even gave me a free cable to connect to a sound bar. The cost £10. Very helpful and polite. They have restored my faith in old fashioned professional service. Dropped my 'dead' TV off on a Friday to the shop & got a call 2 hours later with a very reasonable quote to fix it. The part had to be ordered and the TV was ready for collection the following Saturday. Great service and very friendly staff. More...

Took my TV here after being told it wasn't worth repair due to a screen fault. They looked at it for free and came back to me with a quote for repair. Turned out it wasn't the screen at all but a fault in the software. Sorted and fixed in two days-would use again! Glad I tried a local place, I was about to chuck the whole thing and buy new-ONLY two years old! More...

As a family firm we take pride in the services we provide. We always try to treat people fairly and ensure they come away happy to have dealt with us. The vast majority of our trade is from word of mouth and returning customers. Many people deal with us for either a direct repair or general call out initially before returning for a further purchase or service in future. We feel the choice of these customers in coming to a local business and family firm shows the real worth of service in audio-visual equipment.

John Littler originally started as a projectionist at the local Odeon cinema back in 50's. From there he set up and ran a TV rental shop based in the town centre. Over the years our field of focus has changed but our commitment to serving customers and providing TVs across the area has gone from strength to strength.

Service and honesty. As a third generation family firm we strive to look after our customers. Specialising in our field, rather than offering every possible appliance and product, allows us to provide better quality service and tailor our installs to each customer.

We always try to help over the phone with any issues customers may experience. If an issue cannot be resolved remotely we simply book a call out for the earliest convenience. We ensure at the time of any visit that the customer has a simple explanation or how to resolve the issue should it occur in future and feels confident and happy to contact us should they need more support.

We implemented screens, masks, drop off systems and more. All staff were kept on and kept on their full wages. We value our customers and staff immensely and will still regularly wear PPE when entering high risk environments (care-homes) or upon request for anyone shielding.

Larger set? No problem. We also offer a chargeable collection service for customers unable to bring their set in themselves.
