How do you help your clients achieve their fitness goals?

After losing over 50 pounds myself I appreciate how hard the journey can be. From my experience of working with people, people struggle with routine and habits more than anything else. What I do is help manage health and fitness as part of everyday in a normal and practical sense. You can't just give every client the same coaching and hope for the best. I appreciate there is a human being at the other end of the process.

What’s the secret to getting the body of your dreams?

Accountability and simple tasks broken down for the individual. You also need someone to help you up each stair of the staircase as you go instead of expecting too much too soon.

What do you love most about your job?

Changing lives. Not just getting people fitter or maybe losing a few pounds, I mean changing live's. Giving people confidence, control and a sense of self worth is priceless.

What inspired you to start your own business?

Losing weight myself and wanting to help people through the journey.

Why should our clients choose you?

I have been and done it. I have also studied nutrition and behavioural strategy to give people tools that will last long after any exercise session. I joined John's sessions just over four weeks ago after seeing an advert on Facebook for a 4 week weight loss competition. The competition came at the perfect time for me. I knew I had to do something about my weight (I am classified as obese and was at risk of diabetes) and I wanted to get fitter so I would have enough energy to play with my eight year old son, and could stop saying to him, "Mummy's too tired." Before joining the classes, my idea of exercise was a short walk to the shops when my husband had the car and I needed chocolate. When I would get to the shops, I would be out of breath and sweating, even though the walk was short and not at all uphill. Five weeks on, I can't say I'll be running any marathons soon, but I can walk for miles, now have a very happy son whose mother can take on the maze at Ragley Hall, and have lost over 8 pounds and three inches off my waist. What has amazed me even more, though, is that I can't wait for the next session! I've never been excited to get to an exercise class before this, but the atmosphere and people are open and friendly, and I don't feel embarrassed when I can't yet keep up with some of the others. I just go at my own pace, and John is really encouraging. He keeps saying, "You just need to turn up and I'll help with the rest," and it's true. I haven't ever regretted making the effort to get there, and I feel fantastic when the session finishes, which is what keeps me coming back! I thought when I joined the competition that I would just "give it a go" for the four weeks and would "see how it went". I've felt like that before with diets and now realise this was my way of giving myself an "out" when the diet or exercise became too challenging. But as part of the competition, I had to commit to two sessions a week for the whole four weeks, and this made me stick with it when I would otherwise have taken the easy way out - again. I never expected to find something I would love and could see myself coming to for years, like many of the others who attend John's sessions. Within the first week, I knew this wasn't about a four week contest anymore - it was about a change for life. I didn't win the contest, but that isn't important to me. I've finally found what I needed to help me change my life for the better, and for good. And if I can do it, anyone can!

I found out about John via Facebook when one of his posts popped up on my timeline . It was advertising a transformation competition .
I am a very unfit and overweight mum who didn't think I stood a chance of getting to the end of the first session yet alone win a competition!
I will be honest it wasn't the easiest thing I could have done, infact if it wasn't for Johns pure honesty and dreadful jokes I don't think I would have made the next session . But what he said stuck in my brain and made me go back. He made me start to believe that I could do it too!
I now look forward to each session believe it or not ( my husband is amazed.)
So to sum it up if you want to achieve your goals or at least be on the right path turn up and smile .

I started John's online weight loss coaching programme in January 2016. As a Mom of two young children it was difficult to get out to the usual slimming clubs so this was the ideal solution. Since joining I've not only lost weight, I've lost inches without doing any exercise! It's a great group and it's one of the best decisions I've ever made!

I live in the states and happened to hear John speak about weight loss online. I was 40 pounds overweight at the time. Since working remotely with him via a weekly coaching call and group webinar I have shed 20 pounds and 2 dress sizes. I have truly made a life-style change and my daily habits reflect all that I have learned. The personal and group coaching is no nonsense simple information that delivers results. The food plan is amazing and I never feel hungry because his philosophy is about keeping our food real, practical, balanced and sustainable. John tells you what you need to know and not what you want to hear. This is priceless when trying to lose weight for me. He is genuinely as invested in my results as I am. Definitely worth every penny. I just wish I lived in England so I could attend his boot camp!

After rejoining the gym multiple times, I was struggling to find a place to go to keep me motivated. John's bootcamp sessions are held at Queens Park in Harborne, are easy to get into and doesn't feel like exercise because they're so much fun! It is challenging but very rewarding. I have found that my physical fitness has drastically improved thanks to John's help, and I have made a lot of friends. If you want to get into exercising in the great outdoors with a bunch of friendly people and a professional instructor, this is the place for you.

I joined johns 4 week boot camp competition.i was nervous about going and meeting john but he is very easy to get along with and not once did i feel intimidated or out of place.his bootcamps do what they are supposed to do and in 4 weeks i lost 8 lbs. its not just about fitness but teaching yourself new eating habits too.
since the competition ended i feel lost not going to johns bootcamp so will be continuing as a paying customer.in my opinion it is worth every penny when you walk away feeling good about yourself.
