We needed some new professional business shots. Right from the start Jemma listened to our requirements and put me at ease on the actual day of the shoot. We didn’t feel rushed or that anything was too much trouble (she even carried my change of shoes between locations due to mobility difficulties). She ensured we hit our tight deadline by working over despite it being the Christmas period. Jemma is a fabulous photographer. She puts you at ease, explains how she works, and also (and this part was brilliant!) writes a storyboard of different images she wants to try and capture during your photo-shoot. She made sure we were happy with her ideas before beginning, and really looked after us for the time we were there. I had a headshot session with Jemma to use on media channels and help boost my business presence. A session with Jemma is anything but boring and typical. She puts you at ease from the moment you walk into the studio. Jemma discusses what you want and presents options that she thinks best suit the brief. Then sets about putting it into practice. My session was far from boring but very fun and highly amusing with Jemma providing plenty of entertainment jumping onto things to make herself taller! I hate having my picture taken and Jemma made me feel at home. Nothing was too much trouble...Including steaming my shirt! After the session Jemma performed nothing short of magic with a variety of images for me to pick from at my own leisure. I’m looking forward to Jemma taking some pictures to remember my daughters 18th. Probably one of the last sets of photos we will have of her and I totally trust Jemma to capture this important age! Well what can I say... I have been using Jemma Hancock Photography since December 2013 and every year I drag all 4 of my boys down to her studio for Christmas cards and updated photos.
