This company were asked by an online mattress company to collect a return from my home. On the day the mattress company acknowledged my return request JD Delivery were on the phone asking when it would be convenient to collect. They were able to pick up within a week and rang half an hour before collection to check I was in. The driver was very polite.The only reason I docked 1 star from the review was that the driver was alone, so my husband had to assist with loading onto the van. Secondly the returned mattress was going to charity and no protection was put on the mattress once it was loaded. This wasn't an issue for me, but it was a shame a pristine mattress risked marking because of this oversight. More...

Very pleased with this courier service. It's always a problem when a large item needs to be collected from home when usually people are at work. This company contacted me before collection by text asking for available times they could collect. They also give you a call and tell you when they will be there. On this occasion they rang with 45mins notice so I could ensure someone was in to enable collection. The item was a week old immaculate mattress, but it was not covered, luckily they were equipped with a polythene sheet for the floor to help keep it clean during transport.Very friendly and helpful service. Collect a mattress from me little disappointment that I keeped clean and driver just drag on van floor am awaiting money back from company and have photos to show in mint condition think you need to have floor sheets when collecting item like this
