Janine is simply wonderful. We took my 10 month old daughter who has complex health needs for some professional photos with Janine, who had very kindly donated her time and photos to us. Janine was professional from the start, sending details pre-shoot and welcoming us warmly into her home/studio. Janine was interested to hear and learn bout our journey and was warm and caring in her approach. Owing to my daughter's needs, I can be anxious of her being held by other people, however I was completely at ease with Janine the entire time and my daughter was more than happy to pose for the camera! We've used Janine for our family shoots for the last two years now. She's friendly, patient and such a lovely person to be around. The way she captures my crazy family never ceases to amaze me. Janine was our wedding photographer and has also taken newborn photos of my daughter and on both occasions the photos have exceeded my expectations and was blown away by the standard and quality of the photography. Not one to enjoy having photos taken, Janine made our whole experience fun and informal, was extremely patient and knew exactly how to bring the best out in people! Janine has now charted the changes to our family over the past six years - from our first session when our eldest was five months old, to becoming a family of four and then again when our newest addition arrived earlier this year! Every time she has made us all feel extremely comfortable, been fantastic with the children and given us the most beautiful photographs to treasure forever. Alfie (our 3 year old) had great fun with Janine in the park on our shoot that he hardly twigged that she was taking photos of him! Janine put us all at ease and made Alfie laugh so much during the whole shoot. We loved the fact that all of the photographs were natural and did not involve posing in any way for the camera. Alfie was really disappointed when the shoot ended, as his fun had ended! The photographs were all great and look fab printed out and framed on the wall. I cannot recommend Janine highly enough. Not only is she a very talented photographer who has captured gorgeous images of my newborn baby girl but I must stress how fantastic Janine is with newborn babies and equally good with new mums. Janine discussed my expectations with me prior to any photographs being taken and made sure I,as a new mummy, was totally comfortable with all that was going to happened. She was so gentle & patient with my daughter Amelia it put us both at ease and produced some fantastic images that me and my partner will treasure. Having Janine photograph my twin girls was the most pleasant experience, she is a natural at what she does and considering she has never photographed twins before I was extremely impressed with her patience and how well she settled them, Janine is so gentle and loving towards them and that helps to get amazing shots! If I could give this lady 10 stars I would. Janine and Myself (Makeup by Kim Michelle) did a bridal collaboration together. Janine is not only an extremely talented photographer; she is also a lovely lovely person. We are absolutely delighted with Kizzy's headshots taken by Janine last Saturday. Firstly, Janine fitted us in at very short notice, finding a time to suit us. When we arrived at her beautiful house, the chickens wandering around among the snowdrops by the stream set the mood for a relaxed session! Janine was so friendly and welcoming, she put us at ease straight away; then took tons of shots, with three outfit changes, so quickly there was no time for our model to get fed up! Around 60 lovely photos were posted on the internet for us to sort through the same afternoon. It was a hard choice as there were so many amazing ones, but once narrowed down to 7, we only had to wait 2 days before they were all available in lovely high resolution. I would highly recommend Janine as a photographer. Lovely person, great photographer and excellent value. 5 Stars! More...
