It didn’t take more than a second to know that Jan was the photographer for us, just look at her work on her website! We, of course, had the obligatory posed photos to appease the Mum’s, but Jan’s skill lies in the documentary style that we wanted for our later in life casual wedding. She has honestly captured personalities and treasured moments that would never have come across with a more traditional approach. She worked like a little worker bee to produce pictures that captured the look and feel we were going for. Filter out the ones with the extra chins and me looking like I’m chewing a toffee, and this woman has made us and our guests look beautiful. She’s really nice, too! Thanks, Jan. Jan was recommended to me by my mum's friend and I'm so glad I found her. We were on a budget for my wedding so I wanted a photographer purely for the ceremony only and Jan had no problem catering for what we wanted. Communication from Jan was 100% and we had regular contact throughout the year right up until my big day. Jan was so friendly and she just made everything so perfect. My wedding pictures arrived a few days later via post however I could view them on Jan's website prior to this. After speaking to Jan back in 2019 I knew she was the wedding photographer for my partner and myself. Jan has such a wonderful friendly and bubbly character and put us at ease through every step of the wedding planning process. Arriving early to our appointments with her, Jan remembered every detail on what we wanted and made us feel comfortable with any questions we had. After knowing Jan for many years and doing several family portraits for my family I new she was the one to do our wedding photos. She was very professional as well as a fun character as it put us both at ease from the moment she arrived until she left. We received our preview photos within a couple of days and we absolutely love them and cant wait to show people. Jan also dealt with 2 young children which one of them didn't want any photos to begin with however Jan worked her magic and he changed his mind. All of our guests have praised Jan and said how lovely she was, how much of a great job she has done and how comfortable she made people even when they don't like their photos being taken. If I could give Jan six stars I would do. We've had a maternity and newborn photoshoot with her, and going to have a one year shoot where she takes periodic photos through the year of us. We've also booked her for our wedding next year. She is absolute brilliant, and dealt with our baby, 4 year old and dog amazingly. She made everything very easy and came up with a great location for the maternity shoot and came to our house for the newborn which took away a lot of the stress of moving everything needed for a baby to a studio.
