James photographed our wedding on 7th August this year and he was brilliant from start to finish. We didn’t want a lot of staged pictures and he kept these to a minimum. He practically disappeared into the background for most of the day. We can’t recommend James enough and really made the day special. He was so easy to work with and all our friends were impressed with how friendly he was with everyone. Myself and my husband have just received our wedding photos from James and we couldn't be happier! James has captured every inch of our amazing day. I can't stop looking at them. We have just received our photographs and we absolutely love them!! We don't know how we are going to choose which ones to frame, we want them all! !
We had seen James' work before and 100% knew that he was the photographer we HAD to have for our Wedding, in fact, we even made sure James was free for the day of our Wedding before we confirmed it with the venue.
He did not disappoint, he is so friendly and laid back and at times, we hardly knew he was there. He took us off for our couples photographs and we weren't long at all so we couldn't believe how many great shots he captured when we saw the finished result.
We loved our Wedding Day so much and we are so pleased that James was there to capture it and all the little details. A lot of our guests have also commented on what a top guy he is and that he wasn't trying to take over the day, but still managed to get everyone where they needed to be for the important photographs.

I had the upmost pleasure of working alongside James today at a wedding. My face possibly hurt from giggling so much as James blended into the bridal prep so well & was such a genuine, lovely, down to earth guy. He has a natural approach to photography so wasn't intrusive in bridal prep nor demanding which is perfect from a makeup artists perceptive. What more do you want? We've just received our photos & slide show from James from our wedding. Wow!..... We are truly amazed and so happy with them. We received our wedding pictures from James last Saturday and we could not be happier with them. James captured our Manchester wedding perfectly. He put myself at ease from the moment that he arrived at the hotel for the wedding prep, and managed to get all of the photos that we wanted on the day without ever making us feel rushed. We can’t thank James enough for capturing every moment of our special day. Our photographs are beautiful and we will cherish them forever. On the day, he made us all feel at ease and was very friendly with everyone. All our guests commented on the day about how incredible he was and since receiving the photos, we’ve had so many compliments. If you book James you will not be disappointed! I found James on Instagram and once I had discovered his page I didn’t need to look any further. His beautiful pictures speak for themselves and I was instantly attracted to his style of photography. Neither myself or my husband are particularly keen on having our picture taken and we didn’t want to have a lot of portraits. James’ documentary style was absolutely perfect for us and just what we were looking for. After a chat on the phone with James when he answered our questions we knew he was the guy for us. He is so friendly and professional and made us feel completely at ease throughout the day. We booked a second photographer and were very lucky to have Steve Rooney join him. We had a lot of fun and that was really reflected in our photos. They are absolutely stunning and we couldn’t be happier with them. They are beautiful keepsakes of the day and we will cherish them forever. The difficult part will be narrowing them down to make an album!

We found James after a huge trawl on the internet and were impressed by a number of things. He was always quick to email responses to any queries we had, his portfolio of pictures was stunning and not too formulaic and his enthusiasm for what he does coupled with his down-to-earth and friendly manner made us feel really confident that we'd chosen the right person. When we met James we liked him instantly, he was the only photographer we met with and we booked him there and then. We recently had a great little people shoot with James and our two year old, Harry. <br /><br />James travelled to us so we could have the shoot out and about in our local countryside and keep Harry in familiar surroundings. <br /><br /> James' friendly and relaxed approach immediately put us (and more importantly Harry!) at ease which resulted in some fantastic images, our only problem has been trying to<span id="moreReview448145" class="hide"> narrow down which ones to frame! I feel privileged at the fact that my wedding was the first Asian wedding James had photographed. His portfolio is amazing and has such a friendly and natural personality where he is able to get along with anyone and everyone. James was not phased by the change in culture and was able to capture some very special moments. I would just like to say a massive thank you to James Tracey for capturing our special day in the most spectacular way. We are over the moon with the results. When looking through the photographs we thought we had found our favorites but would then find another photo that we we’re like “No, now I like this one the best”. <br />I know we are bias, as we are friends with James and his wife, but I can<span id="moreReview443688" class="hide"> honestly say that he was calm, professional and fun, making us and our guests feel very relaxed. The most surprising thing however and the thing that we weren't expecting, was how he blended into the background during the whole day to the point that we hardly realised we were being photographed. James was recommended to us by a work friend of mine and after meeting him for the first time we decided we didn't need to look any further. He has a likeable personality and puts you at ease even though getting your picture taken isn't the most comfortable thing in the world. We asked James to take some photos of our 9 week old son Toby. We wanted natural photos that captured Toby and us as a family. James was really friendly and made the shoot very easy, just taking photos as we played with Toby and we soon forgot he was there. The resulting photos were gorgeous and exactly what we'd hoped for.
