We were lucky to be one of the first to use James back in 2014 for our daughter's Batmitzvah. His photographs were incredible and we immediately booked him again for our son's Barmitzvah. Once again his photos were phenomenal and really captured the fun of a great night. He always seems to be in the right place at the right time! I cannot praise James Shaw enough for his wonderful photography. He never fails to disappoint as his photos not only capture the atmosphere but he also has fresh and modern approach to formal group shots. He is a pleasure to work with and is honestly so very talented at what he does. He sent through a selected few shots later on the night which was just so special for us and it meant the next day we could re live it all again. After doing alot research and speaking to a quite a few photographers I loved the way James came across, he came to our house and spent some time getting to know us and how we wanted our wedding photos shot. He kept in contact for the 18months build up to our wedding and met me at the venue, he explored the grounds & spoke to hotel staff. He met again with me to go over the schedule of the day and put me at ease. On the day of our wedding he was on time professional, fun, open to ideas, and adaptable! James kept me calm when some things didn't go entirely to plan.. James did not stop clicking which is why he captured such amazing moments! He was everywhere!! I'm so grateful to him and absolutely adore his style of photos, and him as a person! I've had so many compliments on how fantastic my photos are! Really can not recommend James enough!! James helped us tremendously in an hour of need when he made us an album for our existing wedding photos from the year before. He did all of this in less than a week at a time when we needed to put the album together quickly to show a member of the family who was seriously ill. I only wish that I had known about him the year before, as although we had some honestly lovely photos taken by my original wedding photographer, they were poor at communicating with us and had no compassion for the situation. James was quite the opposite, professional, speedy and trustworthy and kept you informed throughout. If I ever need any future events photographed James would be without a doubt my first thought.
