We’d like to say the biggest thank you possible to Jonathan for our photos. They are images that we will treasure forever and he surpassed our expectations in terms of quality - which was high to begin with as we loved his previous work! The way Jonathan captured the day perfectly means the photos are something we can return to for the rest of our lives and remember all of the sights, sounds and feelings of the day - from the way he captured the laughs and the tears to the beautiful venueWe’ve shared the photos with the family and everyone is thrilled to see such fantastic shots. Everyone is learning more about the day and it’s wonderful to be sharing yet more stories with everyone. Jonathan’s photos have provided us with a permanent link back to that special day and even though the cake is eaten and the dress in the wardrobe, the photos will remain as fresh and as emotional as when they were taken.A specific mention, too, for how Jonathan dealt with us on the day. We are not big for showing off or posing but he put us at ease and managed to get intimate stuff out of us which, if you had told me before the wedding, I would have said would have been impossible! Jonathan fitted into our day seamlessly and was both fun and professional throughout. He arrived earlier, stayed longer and worked harder than we anticipated - all in a good way!Finally, the slideshow he created for us has been watched and rewatched at least 7 or 8 times by us alone already. Jonathan shot mine and Ryan’s wedding on 30/03/19. As soon as I saw Jonathan’s work from a wedding he had done for a family friend I instantly knew I had to have him for our wedding. I looked at others but nothing else compared. Not only is Jonathan an amazing photographer he is a genuinely lovely person and put me at ease instantly. Jonathan had me and Ryan laughing through out the day and felt more like a friend then a photographer. We got our photos back within 3 weeks (might be down to my endless hassling as I was so excited to see) and the photos are amazing! I would highly recommend Jonathan to photograph your special day! We could write a paragraph or two about how he puts you at ease, completely blends in taking photos, will even transport chalkboards to the venue, find your makeup bag and open gates! We hired Jonathan as our photographer for our wedding in January and honestly don't think we could have picked a better photographer for us! We met up with Jonathan before booking him and he was so easy to chat too, there was no pressure from him to commit but we could tell that he would be great to have around on our wedding day. Leading up to the wedding he kept in touch and we chatted on skype and went over the way things were going to happen on the day and what we wanted photo wise. We were both pretty unsure about being photo'ed all day as neither of us really like having our pictures taken but Jonathan just made it so much fun and so natural and we are completely blown away by the photos he has taken for us! We wanted to natural shots that told the story of the day and he did this perfectly. Lots of our guests commented on how great Jonathan was on the day, he was there from around 8:45am and couldn't have left until gone 10pm. Jonathan was an absolute delight to have at our wedding! Somehow, he’s captured every moment of our day without ever being intrusive - he blended in seamlessly with the guests. He’s managed to find the perfect balance between professionalism and a personal service; clearly taking his responsibility very seriously but also able to mingle, create a light-hearted atmosphere and have a laugh. Jonathan was incredibly professional from the first contact right through to receiving our gorgeous wedding pictures. He arranged Skype calls to get to know us and talk through his approach to the day and the whole process of booking and paying was really easy. On the day, Jonathan arrived early (having spent the night in a nearby B&B to make sure he wasn’t late!) and took some time to walk round the venue and get a feel for the place. He found some amazing off-the-beaten track places for James and I to have our pictures taken and, when that time came, it felt as though we were simply going for a walk on our wedding day. We were never away from our guests for long which is exactly what we’d wanted. Our wedding pictures perfectly reflect the feel of our day; the way Jonathan is able to capture a complex moment in a single photo is incredible and I’m so grateful to be able to re-live my wedding day over and over again through his pictures. Hiring Jonathan to take photos was possibly the best decision we made when planning our wedding. From the very first call we had with him, he was friendly, helpful and professional. On the day itself, Jonathan was a pleasure to have around. Almost unnoticeable but we felt completely confident that he was capturing all the important moments. He interacted with the guests in a lovely way, to the extent that we had comments about how much people liked him after the wedding. The photos are better than we could have ever wished for. Normally, we are not huge fans of having our photos taken but Jonathan put us both so much at ease for the couple photos that we look relaxed and natural. He captured so many moments during the day that we didn't even notice and his photos will be something we treasure for the rest of our lives. Jonathan was photographer at a friend's wedding and right from the offset he was amazing Xxxx The way he managed to put all at ease and make us laugh meaning the pictures were of natural smiles and not posed ones. capturing the smallest details, little cuddles, kids playing, groomsmen being groomsmen (they know who they are) the guy is definately a ninja and was everywhere at once. Jonathan was our photographer for our wedding on 3rd November. Where to start? Jonathan arrived at my house early in the morning to start photographing the bridal party prep and was with us until late into the night whilst we partied away. Jonathan works so discretely you barely notice he is there snapping away taking amazing photos. My husband is not keen on having his photo taken and hated the thought of the portraits, we were made to feel at ease and laughed our way through the portraits which is reflected so well in our photos. Jonathan is a funny happy go lucky photographer and goes one step further to make sure you get the images you want. We were quite specific in wanting only candid photos and we got exactly what we asked for. Nothing was too much trouble for Jonathan throughout the whole day. We have received the photos and the AMAZING slideshow (only watched it 1000 times!) and we are absolutely over the moon with all the photos captured. We knew we liked his style from his website, loving how he captures natural and atmospheric backgrounds, night photography and silhouettes, and we are so happy that we went ahead with him. Where do you start when trying to describe the most amazing, kind, funny and all round wonderful photographer IN THE WORLD? I’ll try my best... From day one, Jonathan was nothing but professional and polite. His responses to any queries were always super fast and to be honest, the info guide he sends out upon initial enquiry is so detailed that there was not much left to ask!In the lead up to the big day, Jonathan was on hand to go over the finer details and plans and I had nothing but confidence in him. On the day itself, Jonathan arrived at breakfast and was there to capture every tiny detail of the morning prep. We were chatting and laughing away instantly and within no time, it actually felt like he was one of the bridesmaids! He was on hand to pass hair bits, accessories and most importantly, the whiskey bottle when I needed it! Legend. Throughout the day, he was there in the most friendly and fun way, yet at the same time he was invisible- some of the shots I have no idea how he got! And then in the evening, he stayed almost until the bitter end- he was as much one of the party as the guests. This (amongst so much more) was one thing I thought was above and beyond from Jonathan- most wedding photographers stay for first dance and a couple more songs and “pretend” to capture the night. From the moment we met Jonathan (at a pub ) we knew we needed him to capture our wedding! He is the most friendly, understanding, caring and calming photographer. From the moment he arrived at the venue he was non stop! He was like family to everyone! It just felt so comfortable being around him and every time I have spoken about the wedding to the other guests they have all mentioned what a talented friendly man he was! He was just there in every situation that needed capturing Jonathan somehow managed to get it. It was fascinating watching the slideshow and seeing so many different things going on at our wedding that we didn’t even realise had happened? Thanks to Jonathan we were able to re live the whole experience again just through the slideshow that wasn’t even ALL the pictures !! All the pictures are breathtaking .. he made almost all the family shed a tear (happy) whilst watching them. So, you know those people who just are so bloody easy to get on with, so lovely to talk to, and so all round wonderfully fabulous that you would happily just keep them forever? Jonathan was one of those. He was on hand to capture every little detail, going invisible when needed to and passing me the whiskey when I needed it... I have never known photographers to stay longer than the first song after he first dance, but Jonathan was here all night- he was as much part of the party by the end of the day as the guests were! I cannot WAIT to see the photos he captured of our magical day, and see how the ‘Rapey Bear Hugs’ turned out If you’re reading these reviews because you’re wondering whether to book him, don’t be a knob, just do it. I would thoroughly recommended all families to have a 'family lifestyle', photo shoot with Jonathan. Our session was so relaxed and he captured our family's personality and dynamics like no other photographer has done. It didn't even feel like a photo shoot. Usually our girls get bored and very irritable when having their photos done but this was so natural and enjoyable. Jonathan put us all at ease and was so good with the girls. As the digital images are all ours we have been able to share them with family and friends and they have commented on how beautifully they are. You were amazing on our wedding day, the morning was so relaxed and you just 'got involved' with the banter, laughter and dancing with the girls!
Since the wedding, you've constantly WOW'd us with your pictures and they have brought back so many memories (and more tears for Sean!). We knew we had a fantastic day, but you have provided us with the proof!
We absolutely LOVED your slideshow.... i think I must have watched it 6 or 7 times on the day we received it.

Fantastic photographer, thank you so much for helping to make our day special. Jonathan was kind enough to go from Birmingham to Coventry with me to get the all important photo with my mother on her door step after taking numerous photos as I got ready. Including photos of the rings, socks and cufflinks. Jonathan along with Andrew were amazing the whole day. Patient with us and flexible with the photos we requested to be taken. Jonathan had good humour throughout the day and was especially keen on lying on the grass at the church and venue to get the best shots and blended into the background taking photos during the reception. Anyone who hasn't hired Jonathan for their wedding has made a mistake. You will not find a photographer who will work harder, care for much or be so energetic and fun.
Throughout the process and especially on your day you will feel so special and unique. He will be everywhere and no where at the same time and will take images you didn't even know that you wanted.
The hardest part will be choosing where to put all the images you get at the end cause every photo is fantastic and beautifully crafted. Your special day will sing with memories of an amazing day. Jonathan is the nicest man in the world and I am lucky to be able to call him one of my oldest friends of 30 years, and there really was only one choice for me when choosing a photographer. When we were initially looking for photographers for our wedding day, there was a delicacy and attention to detail within Jonathan's photography which really stood out from the rest.
We were struck by his sheer love of photography as well as his unique and bubbly personality, and I think this really shines through within his work.
On the big day, he was a real joy to be around as his sense of humour and bubbliness (I know that's not a word!) really puts you at ease. He worked tirelessly snapping away, lying on floors, getting in to rugby line outs and the like just to get the perfect shot. He captured such beautiful shots of our day including little touches, such as the homemade centrepieces. He also got really excited about more unusual shots (we had some photos taken in a forest) and it was so lovely to see him enjoying himself too!
Jonathan's skill lies not only in his fabulous photography but also in the editing of his photos. Jonathan, you have really outdone yourself and we are so grateful for the way you have captured our special day. You smashed it.

Thank you so much for not only being there with us from start to finish, but for making us feel comfortable and special throughout the day.
Looking through Jonathan's portfolio we were super impressed with his casual, in the moment style and once we'd spoken over Skype we knew his bubbly and funny personality was for us.
I couldn't believe it when Jonathan said he would arrive at the same time as the hair and make-up people (7.00am) as this was not something that any other photographer we looked at had offered. He was with us right from the start of the day and stayed long passed what we had expected.
Not only did Jonathan go above and beyond with his photography, but he was an amazing help to have around for the day (even saving the day by taking a wayward box of trinkets to the venue).
A photographer is someone that is with you at every moment of the day and Jonathan made us feel at ease and comfortable throughout. Most of the time we didn't even know he was taking shots of us all.
An absolute A Class photographer and an all round top chap!

We could not thank Jonathan enough for everything he did for us on our wedding day. When we first found out about Jonathan we contacted him and he came round to our home to discuss everything with us in detail. As soon as he left i told my now husband we must have him! Jonathan arrived at the hotel where we was getting ready by 8:30am. From the moment Jonathan arrived we all felt so relaxed around him and had a great laugh with him. Throughout the day we popped outside for photos and you can see the passion and attention to detail when it comes to him taking photos! Jonathan stayed very very late and we did not expect this Jonathan is dedicated and really cares about your day and capturing the special moments. There are so many positive things to say about Jonathan! What an outstanding photographer for a start!! Jonathan made our day on Sunday, not only did he go above and beyond to capture some great shots (lying on the wet/dirt and climbing in a bush!
) Jonathon made our day go extra smooth - he helped us with absolutely everything. Jonathans sense of humour and brilliant personality helped capture some wonderful memories that myself and Natalie will cherish forever! I think we received more compliments on our choice of photographer than anything else on our wedding day. Our guests (and my husband and I) were amazed at the sheer amount of effort Jonathan put in to capturing the day, from beginning to end.
In addition to taking some fantastic photos (we loved the slideshow we received today), he is a really lovely person and genuinely made our day better just by being there.

There’s only one word to describe Jonathan and that is AMAZING.
It took us a while to find the style of photographer we wanted and as soon as we saw his pictures we knew it was him, from the time we got in touch with him he made us feel really at ease and excited about our day, on the day itself we wouldn’t have even known he was there, he captured the best pictures of us and all our guests and went above and beyond to do it even lying down on the dirty floor!

I was recently a bridesmaid at my cousins wedding in which Jonathan was the hired photographer. It’s difficult to describe how incredible Jonathen was from the moment he got to the hotel at 8.30am!! till the party finishing at 12.
30am. A very long day and always had a smile. �
Obviously the photos are stunning, but it’s everything else that he brought to the day. From making our guests and us laugh so much, to organising with the bridal car so the timing was perfect. He really helped the day go smoothly and all of this while taking epic photos!

Getting the slideshow before the full album was such a lovely touch, it helped us relive the entire day that went by so fast, and enjoy it all over again as flies on the wall. His documentary style is intimate and personal and not at all stuffy.

If your searching for a photographer and finding the whole process bewildering- I have been there.
I knew that spending so much on one day would be worth it, as long as we had the best photographer to capture every detail for us and that was Jonathon.
Please look no further than Jonathon. The effort he makes on the day cannot be beaten. We loved having him there as part of our day and we had every confidence we picked the right photographer.
Following the wedding we received our slideshow. It was everything and more than we imagined. Everything Jonathon does is perfect and he really works hard to make sure he captures everything from your day.
I have ended up purchases far more photos for frames than I envisioned. There are so many we just loved. We also decided at a later date to have Jonathon create our photo album for us. We have so many friends who had every intention of creating there own, but never found the time. We are so glad we did and now look back and think we should of chosen the album package in the first place �
We have kept in touch with Jonathon since our wedding last October, he is not just a photographer but a great bloke and friend.

Jonathan is amazing, we would wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone looking for a photographer. He has photographed our wedding, he has also done a family photoshoot for us and my sister and her partner were so impressed with him, he's booked to do their wedding next year.

Jonathan was our wedding photographer at Swinfen Hall Hotel in Lichfield, he was joined by Roo Stain, his friend and former business partner.
Jonathan arrived at our house at 9am to photograph my husband and the Grooms party. My husband was apprehensive but he said it instantly felt like having a friend in the room who completely put them all at ease.
We have had so many comments from friends and family about how friendly Jonathan and Roo were, how they put everyone at ease and how they were so subtle they didn’t even know they were there.

From our first telephone conversation with Jonathan, he genuinely had a real positive impact on our wedding day! From taking the time to really understand the kind of theme and mood we hoped to create and getting to know our 'style' and personalities, to putting in every effort to make us feel relaxed on the day. He made taking the photos themselves a fun experience. He is also the type of photographer that throws himself (literally) into things to get the perfect shot, I can imagine he had ruined many a smart suit (his own, I might add) with his efforts and enthusiasm to do his very best for you and capture something inspiring.
