5 star rating all day long. Very professional. No messing said he would have to take it to the shop for new parts to be ordered. Had it back a couple of days later like new. Dave is an absolute star and I would highly recommend JB television to anyone. More...

My damaged Tv was picked up very quickly on a Saturday at short notice, and was repaired by Tuesday. The faults that had been identified ,were explained to me upon collection , and the cost of repair was very reasonable .
Would definitely recommend

Fantastic business, needed parts replacing on a plasma tv, nothing was too much trouble for Dave, one of the nicest guys in the business and couldn't do enough for you. No call out charge and no hidden nasties whatsoever ever. Very reasonably priced, 125 quid for all the main circuit boards replacing. I called around a couple of engineers and found Dave from J & B Television to be the most helpful. He wanted to come out and have a look at my TV to and gave me a repair price after testing it to establish the actual fault. I also had the option not to go ahead, if I was not happy with the price, which was actually the cheapest price I had been quoted. (Alot of the engineers were quoting figures and wanting to order parts before even wanting to look at the TV). He took it away the same day, brought it back repaired the next day. Flexible payment options, just left me the bank details to issue via EFT when he was leaving, nice to see a traditional contractor acting with honesty and good old fashioned trust...From looking at the previous reviews, I was a little hesitant, but my feelings are that some people expect to be able to ask for a confirmed repair price over the phone before being able to establishing the actual fault. There are some contractors out there that will just quote you for several parts that may not be needed. Yes, you have a price over the phone- but are you laying out for parts that are not needed based on a hunch...Will use this company again if I ever need to.James, Bolton. More...

46" Samsung went on the blink - wouldn't switch on. Common problem according to internet search - burnt out capacitors on Power Board. Went to local electronics store for advice - and also asked proprietor for anyone they could recommend - and they put me on to J&B.Rang J&B & took TV in an hour later - picked it up within 24 hours - Perfect!Could have dabbled myself - but not worth the hassle! OK, so I had a hunch what the problem was - but would anyone go to a Chemist and just say, "I'm ill - how much is some medicine?"Large electronics store which sells and repairs TVs quoted £30 more than I was charged JUST TO EXAMINE TV - and would then charge for parts and labour in an expected 2 week turn around!Very pleased with service i received - highly recommended!
