We approached Ray and his team in early October after seeing the reviews on Yell. Ray was very professional, we explained what type of gates we wished and Ray explained everything to us showing us the materials he would use and making a drawing for us. He then gave us a quote. Came to the house did the measurements and gave an estimate on when the gates would be made, dipped and fitted. Ray and Scotty came and fitted the gates on Friday. We have a large balcony of a trapezoidal shape, and we needed some high quality rails that comply with the building regulations and also look great. It was also a very tricky job because the fibreglass roof that sits on top of a platform on a partly extended house made the mounting of the rails very cumbersome. Ray and his team gave us many ideas, visited our home on multiple occasions to keep up with the changes the builders were making during the construction, and offered us a great deal of design options. Today they visited us to install the rails and did a truly stunning job. Excellent craftsmanship and quality of the materials and, I must say, an obsessive attention to every detail. We cannot recommend Ironworks more. We will definitely use them again and recommend them to all our friends and neighbours. They have very reasonable prices too! More...

We recently asked Ray to do a rather bespoke & challenging job. Ray being the kind of guy he is, went that extra mile and gave us EXACTLY what we'd asked for. He came to see us a few times to check & double check everything, making sure we were all singing from the same page, and then once he was confident that he knew what it was we were looking for, set about the task. Just to commend Ray and the Gang for an excellent job. Ray is very friendly and professional. I found him to be honest and great Value. He was straight to the point and offered an effective solution with no fuss. He was quick in both coming to quote and giving an honest time frame of completion with no need to chase at all.
