I passed my test today with the help of Artan. Lovely people to work with all round. Elisabel, was so nice and made sure to book my test and get me a driver, with very little notice.

Can't speak highly enough of the service provided! Very professional and efficient service - I was able to find and book a test with accompanying lessons within a week of initial contact. The instructor I had, Karen, was both patient and knew exactly how to tailor the lessons to my weaknesses and I was able to pass the test at the first attempt having not driven for a few years! My instructor Ahmed was great very helpful and always giving good advise. He would make sure you was confident with everything before allowing you to take your test. Could not recommend anyone any more.

Had really good lessons with Hussain who is an excellent teacher and remains calm even when I panic! He stays very alert and smiley even after 4 hours of driving lessons. Managed to pass FIRST TIME with only 1 minor within 10 days of starting the manual course (0 driving experience before). Really fantastic booking service as well, with Yolanda managing to book the practical test date within a week's notice. Hey I have jus come across this page never knew it existed.....so am talking 7/8 years ago now I was taking lesson had around 40 hours driving time and failed my test twice and I was out with friends and he recommended this company. ... My theory only had six months left on it.....I called up carcaptain and the gentlemen said yes he would like to help me and had my first lesson with him a few days later..... I was amazed straight away how organised he was compared to my old instructor and how much I was unaware considering the hours I had spend on the road..... We made a plan straight away to get my test booked ASAP and have double lessons and extensive course unsurprisingly I passed my test first time with Carcaptain with only 2 minors..... I needed to do a practical driving test days before my planned trip and I contacted Car Captain to help.

Within hours Car Captain had found the perfect practical driving test slot and booked me with Artan, my driving Instructor.
Artan didn't beat about the bush - He zeroed in on all the areas I needed to brush up on, and helped me practice... and the result was one minor error and... a Pass certificate.

These guys are brilliant. I can't recommend them enough! I had had two previous instructors, failed 4 tests, and spent many hours learning to drive. .. and was at the point of giving up... then I found these guys, did some intense hours and passed with one minor. Chris, my teacher, was so patient and took the time to explain everything making sure I really understood WHY I was doing things. The team behind the scenes were very prompt to reply, organise my lessons, and book my test. The whole service, from beginning to end, was remarkable and I would highly recommend! More...

Having a very tight schedule and not many available hours to do everything they still managed to fit in all the hours needed for both the practical & theory which I ended up passing with no problem!

Quite simply, Car Captain is the only school that really taught me to drive and do it in a relaxed, comfortable and confident manner, which is basically all one needs to pass the test and drive safely afterwards.

Many thanks to Elisabel and Anna for organising the lessons and finding a quick test in Pinner (London), but even more thanks to Hallam – the best instructor I’ve had in more than a year of learning to drive. His patience of a saint and ability to explain what I did wrong and how it can be done right were all I needed to feel confident behind the wheel and get my full licence at last (I failed 3 test before !). I used to be terrified of the very idea of driving, but I’m now actually looking forward to it.

Whilst I can’t judge Car Captain on teaching new drivers, I can and will most certainly commend it for not-so-new drivers who struggle with their driving and / or passing the test. Hats off to the team for the great service! More...

I failed my test 7 or 8 times (badly) and had hundreds of hours of lessons before I came across Carcaptain and met driving instructor Alan in North East London. It had been 14 years since I'd last driven and I optimistically bit the bullet and booked an intensive refresher course and a fast track driving test. I had a full licence just a couple of weeks after that first call! Alan put me at ease and I enjoyed all of my lessons. The nerves I had before dissolved and I gained confidence. He taught me to a standard far higher than the test requires, in just a few hours. The best driving instructor I've ever had, and I had several! He turned me from a nervous, bad driver into a skilled one - proven by my nearly perfect clean sheet - I only got 2 minors!! Don't hesitate to book with Carcaptain, genuinely worth every penny, and if you're in the area, do ask for Alan - brilliant driving instructor and an absolute gentleman. More...

Thank you so much Carcaptain. After taking my test 10 years ago and failing 3 times after hours of lessons, I gave up on the idea of ever driving. I recently contacted Carcaptain, who gave me a number of options and I went for the intensive course with theory test and practical test all on the same week. (Amazing that they can book everything so quickly around your schedule) Carcaptain arranged everything and within a week I passed both. Larkland my instructor was great, very through and he made it easy to remember everything. I would recommend both Carcaptain and Larkland to anyone wanting a good instructor and organised office, who help all the way!! More...

Very professional organisation and provided an excellent service. My driving instructor (Mahmoud) was by far the best instructor I have had and I have gone through about 4 different driving schools. Processing team (Yolanda/Anna) were extremely helpful in finding test dates and kept me updated regularly. All in all a very positive experience and a company I would 100% recommend to anyone! Carcaptain were very flexible in trying to work around my commitments/availability! The 2 hour lessons are really good as it gives you time to get into what you are doing and the regularity of lessons means it helps stick in your brain! Theory test was organised easily for me and was able to be postponed for me. the resources/access and helpful revision material was set up which made the theory test a lot easier. The use of videos are great as they have the theory and real life footage which you can watch again and again to make sure you really understand it. I didn't think I could learn and pass in such a short amount of time but I did it with carcaptain's help! Practical was arranged very quickly!! More...
