Yesterday we had a pre-wedding kids photo shoot, part of the wedding package Bev offers....it was absolutely fantastic. Bev was so good with the kids (5 of them ranging from 2-6 years old) and so patient. She has sent us a little sneak peak of the pictures today and they are gorgeous and perfect. Bev captured our sons 1st birthday party so beautifully. Bev listened to what we wanted from the offset and that was to capture fun, magic and our son enjoying himself so he can look back feeling the way we did when he is older. The pre catch up before the party was great, Bev took her time to get to know us which I think is really important. On the day Bev, kept a crazy mummy sane and ensured myself and my hubby got some unique and special photos with our son. Alot of our friends and family thought Bev was on of our friends! I mulled over having bump/baby photos for ages, hating having my photo taken and not wanting to be forced to pose in awkward stances in a studio. Then I came across Inspired By Joseph and found what I was looking for; someone who would take natural photos, and come to us. I am so glad I came across Bev as she really lived up to her word; both the maternity and baby shoots were so laid back and fun. Bev really made us feel at ease and worked around us; what we liked/disliked and with me being pregnant and then having a new born, how I was feeling on the day. Now we have lots (another huge plus point) of relaxed, happy photos documenting an amazing time of our lives. We had the most amazing experience with Bev for our sons 1st birthday cake smash shoot. It was so relaxed, friendly and everything we imagined. We all just ‘went with the flow’ with no time limits, in our parents back garden, a perfect scenario for a 1 year old boy. Bev came to do a photoshoot in our home for our 11 day old baby! She was very calm and patient with us and our baby and the time flew by. We absolutely love the pictures and will treasure those memories forever.
Also extremely good value for what you pay, no extortionate prices and no hidden costs at the end!
We could tell Bev totally loves doing photography which made it all the better.

Bev is a lovely down to earth friendly person. This for me is a definite, as we had outdoor shots in a place we visit often, it was like being there with someone we already knew, which is fantastic for capturing the relaxed happy shots we wanted, and got. I have just been to a FREE short photography course run by Bev which was about capturing those perfect shots of your little ones. Bev is so engaging and accommodating of everyone...there were lots of little ones there and she had brought some toys with her so they could play while the parents listened to her top tips! I have come away with lots of great ideas and can't recommend Bev highly enough! Whether you go on one of Bevs photography courses or book a one to one session you can be assured you will get some amazing photos as Bev puts everyone at ease..and of course her photos are beautiful ! We recently had an outdoor family photoshoot with Bev and want to share how fantastic it was. She is extremely friendly and really good with children. I was a little apprehensive before hand as I have a 5-year-old son and 2-year-old twins. I was expecting the session to be a little stressful but it wasn’t at all! Bev was fab with all my children, she told Joshua that he was in charge and immediately he was on his best behaviour. Bev kept my youngest two entertained with toys from her bag or letting them take turns with her camera. We now have some beautiful family photos that I love, but more importantly we had some fantastic memories from the session that we will cherish forever. In the past, me and my husband have stayed away from professional photographers, after a few bad experiences. We had fallen in love with photos after being offered ‘free photoshoots’, but then the photos costing an extortionate price that we just couldn’t afford! I had to double check with Bev that she had heard the price correctly when she was telling me hers, she really is the helpful affordable photographer! We will definitely be back in the future to update our family photos again. More...

We used Bev at Inspired by Joseph to capture our big day...in Italy! When we were given the package for the wedding there was a photographer included, but it came with an extra cost, so we did our research. .. It was expensive. We approached Bev for some advice about photography as we hadn't really used a professional photographer before. She was great with the advice and what we were to look for... So much so, we took her with us to our wedding. Bev did so much for us in the run up to the wedding in order to capture all the photos we wanted. We wouldn't have got half of the photos we have now using the 'recommended photographer'. As we got married in Italy, Bev also came to some of pre-wedding events for us and captured our guests there too, as well as the evening reception which we had back home in Uppermill. The turnaround of the photos was really quick as was us getting our wedding album. We couldn't be happier with the photos or the service, provided by Bev. Thank you, Bev! More...

I absolutely adore the pictures that Bev has captured of my family. Before our sessions I hated having my photo taken so was rarely in pictures with our children, and had awful memories of being lined up in a photography studio for family photos. Now, I've got lots of pictures that I actually appear in (yay!), and they absolutely capture the personalities of my children and memories of the lovely days out together, where Bev has just happened to be alongside us with a camera. Her enthusiasm definitely shines through in the photos; she's even helped my partner recreate a childhood photo with his brother as a 95th birthday present for their grandma!
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to anyone, especially those with young children -we will definitely be using her again!! More...

We had a photo shoot with Bev at Alexandra Park in Oldham in November. This was our first ever experience of a professional shoot and so we were a bit nervous (apart from Tilly the Black Labrador! ) Bev was so warm and friendly that being photographed felt really easy and natural. Bev even managed to get our tricky 2 year old daughter to smile. She captured some gorgeous pictures that reflect our family really well. We were delighted with the results! Bev ran a free session teaching parents how to take better photos of their children. The session was well thought out and was targeted towards those who have little to no experience of professional photography. Bev was warm and welcoming and the session felt friendly and informal. I learned a lot about how to hold my phone properly and which settings to use to maximise opportunity to get a good photo. I went away eager to try out my new found knowledge! We attended Bevs kindness event at grandpa greenes cafe - we were greeted with a beaming smile!! Bev recently did a Valentine's photo shoot for us and I have to say it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. Bev's true professionalism shone through and the photos are amazing, really capturing us as a couple. Bev listened carefully to what we were after and even braved snow and freezing temperatures to deliver the best pictures. Bev was fantastic in capturing my 2 year old at a playgroup, I gave her a big challenge. I originally asked Bev to take a set photo of my daughter and my newborn son but my daughter had other ideas. She would not go anywhere near the camera and ran away. I was devastated as all I wanted was some nice pics for around the house. Bev saw how upset I was and made it her mission to get some photos of my 2 year old in action and the results are amazing. My daughter did not even realise that Bev was taking photos of her. Bev really persevered and got some absolutely gorgeous photos which I will treasure forever and have displayed around my house. I can not thank Bev enough. I'm already planning another shoot. Bev photographed my daughter's prom pictures, back in June. The whole process was relaxed from start to finish and she made what could have been a very nerve wracking experience, a truly wonderful one.
