Terrible way to learn. Waist of time. Extremely frustrating

Scott hands down blew my wife and myself OUT OF THE WATER. He was so accommodating and laid back about everything, even though we had a million and one requests (more like demands) for him. We found him very very very late in the game, as our first DJ fell through, and he jumped right in, eager to make our wedding unforgettable. He worked around our busy busy schedules for consultations and HAD FUN WITH US! I think that is what stuck out the most, is that he actually got excited about our wedding, and it showed in his dedication and perfectionism. The day of the wedding could not have gone more smoothly, and we are still over the moon with how amazing Scott was. The guests at our wedding were not people who were likely to dance, but literally 90% of us were on our feet the entire reception. Most of our guests didn’t even finish their food because Scott kept the party going so smoothly. Top that off with helping us orchestrate a flash mob, and helping me sing a surprise parody to my wife, what Scott did was nothing short of amazing. The DJ is often the underdog and it is incredibly easy to be mediocre. Scott makes you forget that mediocrity even exists, and working with him is worth every penny and more. More...

Scott did a great job hosting Harry Potter Trivia for the American Lung Association!! I was impressed by the layout and organization of the whole event! Definitely recommend him for ant event! Professional, sweet and a little cheesy (but that's a requirement in this profession lol)!! Great job Scott! More...

Scott did an amazing job for our wedding. We met well in advance to go over musical tastes, a loose time line for the day of, and to talk about particular songs for specific activities (intros, first dances, etc. ). Scott was in contact with our coordinator at the reception space in advance of the day and throughout the reception to keep her up to date with his timeline for activities so she could better manage her staff. He kept the event on schedule and also helped us make sure we had all the activities out of the way before our photographer left so we didn't miss any photo opportunities or have to pay them to stay longer. Most importantly he was an awesome dj. The planning and clerical stuff he did made the day easier but at the end of the day it doesn't helped his skill level is lacking which was not the case as it is through the roof. He kept the party moving at all times, expertly reading the crowd to make sure everyone was still moving, either fast or slow. I had plenty of guests tell me they thoroughly enjoyed the music and the dj and that it was the most fun they've had dancing at a wedding in a long time.
