My daughter had a wonderful time at a 5th birthday disco where Michael was the DJ. As well as great music Michael really interacted with all the children with competitions & activities that got everyone involved. The perfect balance of fun & professionalism meant he was in complete control of 30 3-6 year olds for 2hrs - brilliant! We used Michael for our Civil Ceremony in 2012. He allowed us to tailor the music to our taste before the day, which is just what you want - everyone has different taste.
He also helped with our games and other entertainment we had in the evening. He was very professional and would definitely recommend.

Michael was simply awesome at our Eastington Park wedding in August! He kept everyone on the dancefloor and the room was never empty!
We loved the little touches like request slips placed around the room, lighting, and (I found out later) even a children's dance-off where he handed out medals!

Michael did an absolutely brilliant job at our wedding reception a couple of weeks ago (August 2017, Hyde Barn). His professional and friendly approach was spot on and he really put us at ease before our first dance. He made sure to check how we wanted to be introduced, helped us judge when the best time was for cutting the cake/ first dance and knew exactly when to invite guests onto the dance floor. What’s the secret to keeping a party dancing all night long?
Do your research before the event so that you know your audience. That enables you to keep their interest and use their energy to keep the dance-floor fun and inviting. Mixing tracks skillfully is key to keeping dancers, so there are no clumsy joins and I always find that simply being a happy and engaging DJ really helps!
How would you describe your ‘style’?
I worked in club and bar venues through the entire 90's and 00's, so my style of DJing is a little bit like having a great night out from this era.
'Popular dance classics, really well mixed' is me in a simple one line description.
What do you love most about your job?
Dropping a mix and getting that noise/reaction when the crowd have realised what the next tune is and you know they LOVE it...... it is always the buzz that I just can't get tired of!
I also really enjoy the warmth of delivering a great first dance production at weddings. I love seeing couples have their moment and feeling the love!
What inspired you to start your own business?
I saw that there were no DJ providers that really understood the needs of the premium venues and their customers in the Cotswold areas.
I spent time talking to these venues and then created new, elegant sound & lighting packages that suited these spaces and got a great reaction. I grew the business to cater for these venues, who were very happy to recommend me to their clients on the success of the events and the feedback they received.
