After having tasted Indus food at my nieces wedding 3 years ago, I knew I had to have them for my own wedding. A lot of our guests approached me during the reception and commented on how lovely the food was. Everything was on point. Indus have definitely gone above and beyond and exceeded our expectations. Everyone loved the food on our wedding day, which was definitely a talking point and one part of our wedding many guests will remember forever. I just had my wedding in July 2019. Mina and her team were just amazing and the food was just exceptional! All my guests were really impressed. Mina was soo thorough with our tasting sessions and had listened to exactly what we wanted. Thank you for listening to what we wanted and making it happen! Couldn't have asked for more!Used indus for our wedding catering in marquee for 320 people. Adam managed the event seamlessly, as the bride and groom we were not stressed out at all and were looked after very well. We had so many guests find us to compliment the food. Indus catered for our wedding a few weeks ago. Having done tastings with a few suppliers, Indus stood out for the quality of food and the professional, efficient and personable manner of Gurdeep who looked after us from our very first meeting to being the event manager on the day. On the day, execution of both the lunch and dinner was excellent and numerous guests have remarked about how much they enjoyed the food during both the lunch and dinner services. Gurdeep was excellent throughout the process and made us feel comfortable enough to be totally hands off on the day; this cannot be underestimated given how much goes on during a wedding. Indus were exceptional, during our tasting they wanted feedback on each dish and we found out on the day why. Each dish was catered to our specific tastes and each dish was perfect for breakfast for 100 people, lunch for 200 and dinner for 300. They were on site from the early hours and were the last to leave with all staff providing a welcoming and warming service. From the beginning, Indus were by far the most professional caterers we got in contact with. They were prompt and professional with replies, logistics and working around us to organise food tasting, efficient and diligent with the quotation and the overall management was highly impressive. They were incredibly efficient on the day, the venue manager could not stop raving about the caterers (she commented they left the kitchen cleaner than when they came). Given the short notice we organised the wedding, this was a breath of fresh air. More importantly, the food was delicious, the choice was immense and they actively sought feedback on food, which they took. In our opinion, the food on the day was significantly nicer than the tasting (given my venue was listed and did not allow gas and kitchen was on the second floor), everyone raved about the food and indus did us a super kind favour upon request of providing our guests from the Pacific with mogo chips which they absolutely loved. The food was delicious, the whole process was smooth and everything was super professional. What is usually a headache was an absolute delight. Setting the scene: We had inquired with several caterers for tasting for our wedding and Indus happened to be the last one. Neither of us had ever heard of Indus and really had just decided to go as we had already booked the food tasting. Food Tasting: the food tasting was great. There were certain things that required tweaking but overall they offered a really unique menu. Gurdeep and the Indus team were amazing to work with for our big day. Having severe allergies to certain foods they went above and beyond to adapt the menu for us so that I as the bride would not need to worry on the day. Gurdeep was constantly keeping us in the loop and giving regular updates, especially closer to the big day which was much appreciated given we had so much on our plates. We recently got married and we were so happy with how our day ran and how amazing the food was on the day. From day 1 Indus have been accommodating, professional and I always knew our wedding was in good hands with Gurdeep. The menu has such a huge variety of traditional and non traditional food which was really exciting to see and try and allowed us to have a few unique food choices on the day. We had so many comments on how good the food was on the day and there were so many comments on the mushrooms and oreo mousse shot which are out of this world! Indus Catering was the BEST supplier in our entire wedding series. We were handheld through 12 months by Avinash Nagamah. Avi from the first time we met him, was an incredible host, and organised a lovely tasting for us . From this point, we knew we were working with world class professionals. The experience got better as we built the relationship, and Indus continued to go above and beyond, with several tastings, adjustments based on our preferences, and there wasn't a request too large for them. Our mind was BLOWN when we came to the events themselves. At the Civil, Indus surpassed all our expectations, with the tastiest food, exactly the same as the tasting. The staff were incredibly polite, attentive, and could not do more for our guests. At our Reception, Indus became an animal of its own. They were the Lion in the pride of our suppliers. They organised a series of street food stalls where each and every dish was tasty, hot, and in plentiful portions across both Indian and Western Cuisines. The service was outstanding and we had comments across both of our events on how attentive the staff had been, and as soon as even they put down their dish, this was collected. They had such a wide variety of foods available, and each and every segment of the evening was like waiting for one's favourite movie - we couldn't have imagined the level of service, support and the incredible taste of the food that we received from Indus. We had other caterers who had done other family functions, but nothing came close to the professionalism, support and food Indus conjured up. They ensured each of our venues were cleaned up, and even cleaned and packed down items for us, like our charger plates. Thank you to Mina and everyone at Indus for your advice, exceptional wedding food and brilliant organisation of my Wedding day. It was a fantastic experience working with Mina and her team. I was nervous initially because I had not used their services before and we travelled from Sussex to use them however, I was reassured that they could cater for our location and individual tastes. And I must say the wedding food was as per my Mums request: Pakistani chat patta (Nice and spicy) punjabi cuisine. We received so many compliments and everyone loved the food and wanted to know who our caterers were. Most importantly my in laws loved the food too. They said the flavours / spice level were right on point so I was relieved. I continue to receive compliments from my in laws to this day. The canapes were really nice especially the mini fish and chips and mini burgers, which went down a treat. I couldn't be happier with the service. We had 2 food taste testings and around 4 meetings in total to ensure it all went to plan, there was also 1 meeting where Avi attended the location of the wedding a month beforehand to discuss details for the order of the day (kitchen layout, hall measurements etc. and how I wanted the day to go) which was really helpful. Mina was extremely easy to communicate with and provided a good level of understanding and expertise in what Indus do. She was happy to speak to my mum and other family members about the event. Gurdeep and his colleague were present on the actual day and did a excellent job at handing everything. Thank you so much for all your help. I did wave at you both from the stage and gave you a huge thumbs up, thank you to you and your team for all of your hard work. We attended a food tasting afternoon with Indus and were very impressed with the food, the choice and the presentation. I want to thank Indus for catering my wedding and reception last Saturday in Central London. I had the pleasure of working with Gurdeep throughout my wedding preparations and during day itself and he is fantastic, I couldn’t have asked for anymore. Gurdeep was easy to communicate with, gave us ideas & solutions to problems and adapted fluidly to our ideas and requests. All of our guests absolutely LOVED the food, both lunch and dinner. My Husband Adil & I would like to thank Avinash & the Indus Team for all their hard work and just delivering all that I was promised and more at my Wedding Last Year ! First of all the guest at my wedding couldn’t stop talking about the food , it was just so delicious. We had guests from different background and they all couldn’t stop raving about the food a year on ! The way to food was laid out was just Amasing ! As the Bride and Groom were assigned our own server which meant we were fed and watered whilst our having our pictures taken and meeting other guests so we didn’t miss out on the food & Dessert & Chat Table were a big hit :-) . Avinash handled our wedding like it was a family affair, just like how an older brother would attend to every detail of his little sisters wedding ( Even down to the Ivory linen that was important to me ). His team stepped in to help my Event Decor person just to ensure that my day went according to the way I wanted it.
