What do you love most about your job?
Organizations do not buy what we sell, People do. People teach you things, companies alone, don't. People value a great effort, great ideas, and a great job. The right People working for you, can make mere work, amazing. People that have re-hired us since the 90's teach us more about ourselves, than we alone can learn. The hardest thing for me, is when 2 or more of my favorite clients pick the same dates. People and being around people, is what I love most about my job.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I was mentored by a World Class Franchise Entrepreneur, who took me under his wing and bet on me. Everyday I go to work, is my way of thanking him.
Why should our clients choose you?
Our clients choose us for a variety of reasons. Some are Large Corporations looking to step up to Premier Service at a good value. Some choose us because their project is Mission Critical and they want Experience, lots of experience. Others choose us, not because they particularly want to buy AV and the Media we bring them, or because they even want to spend money on Techy or Creative people, they want what these will do for THEM, solutions that make them look good to their customers, executives, and other stake holders. Some choose us, because they are Professional Conference and Event Producers, and they know what they are looking for. Others choose us because our Business Model, designed like that of Independent Film Makers, means they are paying for just the things and people their project needs, not a warehouse full of debt, or a cadre of employees that are rookies. We are also deliberate about which Clients we engage with. If what we do, or bring to the table is not important to a prospect, we do not engage. If we cannot guarantee our work, we would rather pass. After 40 years in our industries, we expect serious clientele. We love what we do, and want it to be fun for us.
Live Event AV (Audio Visual)
Our producer brings 43 years of experience to AV & Video. In Live Event we will ask you for a budget number and get to work to see if what you want matches your budget. Most companies will not ask your budget, preferring to play games. We respect your time and ours as well. We can help you find ways to pay for it like Sponsorships and Paid Webinars. We can design an event from the ground up, or take your existing design deliver excellence while always edging forward to your best experience. Independent AV & Video is 31, years young in 2023.
Video Production
Unlike many, we start with a Video Script, before we start shooting anything. We cut our teeth in corporate video but are looking for smaller businesses that want a showcase video they can put on their website, send a link for in their paper advertising, show at a chamber meeting, prove up your business to investors, use video to show your capabilities, or have it playing while you are exhibiting. Independent AV & Video Inc, is 31 years old in 2023, and we have forgotten more about media than most shops have learned yet, and yes we can prove that.
Audio Recording and Production
Audio is NOT Dead. People who say that have too few tools in their tool box. Audio is a passive media which means people can listen to it while working or driving. We love Audio because we get all the clients who had someone who knew NOT about gain structure make noisy audio for them. We can make it broadcast quality, and something you can be proud to use or distribute. We are also editors, meaning we can record your meetings and create a highlight reel or format it like a radio show. We can also add a music bed and make of it, an organizational news show. If we hear one thing all the time in our Leadership Events AV is the old thing about Us ( Leadership) and Them ( Employees and Sales folks in the field) Work with us and we will show you how to get everyone on the same page.
