Illescas Construction has the expertise to take on large masonry jobs (many good sized projects on one residential property). Silvio, the owner, has the skill and patience to discuss the project. He can read architectural plans, will study yours, will make suggestions and will perform it all with precision. He joins the crew in performing, managing and assuring the work is done to industry standards. The masonry work we had him perform was on steep grounds and involved building multiple retaining walls of various heights on different pitches. We had cement w/ stone veneer walls, stone walls, bluestone steps, concrete steps all built by them. We highly recommend them. Prices are reasonable. You get what you pay for. They are working in my backyard as I write this...Silvio has a GREAT crew, VERY hardworking men!...I'm having a curtain drain installed because the City of Danbury refuses to address the problem they caused, BUT, that's another issue. ...Silvio and his crew have to be the hardest working individuals I've seen...they were on time, ready to go, accomplished so much in so little time until they hit a snag in my backyard, which they resolved, continued, and now the job is going to be done on time...Pricing is VERY fair, work is great, would recommend them to everyone!!! I originally got in touch with Silvio to reset the bluestone in my front walkway and build new stairs to the front door, the estimate was spot on and their work was beautiful! Our project, repair and redesign of our steps and a stone patio replacing an old wooden deck, were done fairly quickly and done as expected. One small issue arose as our garden mulch was moved by the workers but never replaced. We are left needing our landscaper to come back and redistribute the mulch as it was originally.
