We weren't planning on hiring a DJ for our wedding - we thought we could save a little money by using the venue mics and popping on an ipod. However, when we did out final walk through at the venue, I realized that the sound system was severely lacking. So, I called Mike, who I had heard at a wedding a few weeks prior and really enjoyed. I told him that for our ceremony, it was important to us for our guests to hear our vows, a solo with my brother's voice and good friend's guitar, and an entire choir of my students singing, which involved with two soloists. Being a music teacher, music is very important to me, and it was a special part of our day. Mike assured me that he could handle it, and he did, all while making me laugh and feel at ease. The sound was PERFECT for not only the outdoor ceremony, but then he also got everyone dancing and grooving all night. I can not tell you how many people (old, young, dancers, non-dancers - even my day of wedding coordinator) complimented IGNIGHT ENTERTAINMENT, and I couldn't agree more. Mike - you are so talented. I am absolutely thrilled with how our DJ performed at our wedding! The music fit our theme perfectly and everyone enjoyed it! I had so many people dancing and having a blast! Kevin kept the party going all night and was so kind when things were added last minute by the groomsmen! Beyond that this company was the most kind and welcoming people I have met in a long time! I was the host of the 82nd annual Charity Ball held in Pueblo Colorado. We had close to 300 guests that were all impressed with Mike and his ability to keep the guests entertained with his selection of music, his outgoing personality and overall knowledge of the way a event should sound. Mike at Ignight Entertainment was absolutely, 112% spectacular! You can tell he enjoys his work and he is well-organized. He made everything seem effortless and took a lot of the stress away from the bride/groom-- which was much appreciated ! He made himself available for meeting times that worked best for his clients and responded to emails in good time. Mike has a very professional yet fun demeanor (it was like having a good friend DJ your wedding!) and was a great emcee for the whole night. He is incredibly flexible in that you can give him precisely what you would like to have at your event and he'll execute it flawlessly; or you can give him free reign and he'll still manage to make everything go off without a hitch. We really could not have asked for a better DJ for our wedding. DJ Ignight was professional, responsive, flexible and kept the jams pumping until the venue shut us down. He was very helpful in cutting us some edits of some songs that we used for our initial dances. We also had a last minute change to our recessional song that he nailed perfectly. Mike at Ignight Entertainment is absolutely amazing! We had the best wedding and are so glad we had Mike as our DJ. He is willing to cater to your music preferences and kept the party going with his great song lineup. Throughout the whole process, Mike was super responsive to our emails and calls and even put together a mash up for our father daughter dance. He made sure to play as many songs from our requested play list as possible and was open to taking request from wedding guests as well. Mike was awesome from the first time we met him through our wedding day! He was communicative, flexible and organized throughout the process. We wanted to do a surprise mashup first dance and Mike did an amazing job putting together all of the songs we wanted in such a fun way. Needless to say, our dance was a hug success much in thanks to Mike! He took on the master of ceremonies role for our day as well and even spoke and coordinated with other vendors. Mike was far and away the best vendor we had for our wedding in Breckenridge, Colorado. He was more than accommodating for us every step of the way. From excellent communication leading up to our big day to sacrificing his whole Fourth of July holiday weekend to DJ the best party of our lives, Mike was the lifeblood of our wedding celebration. Mike was a great DJ, emcee, and rally-er of the guests at our wedding. Although we were very specific (more like picky) about the kind of music played during our ceremony and cocktail hour, he executed our requests flawlessly. He was not only incredibly receptive to all of our request and the guests', but he also understood our vision for the evening and integrated our tastes with the mood of the group so well. We were also impressed by his professionalism and ability to rally our guests back to the dance space (we got married at a resort with a large outdoor-indoor wedding space) to do first dances and cake cutting. There are some vendors who show up and do things the way they’ve always done them. Not with Mike. He will listen to YOUR vision for what you want to do and make it happen, exactly as you ask him to. He mixes all the music live, so the songs flow super well throughout the night (doesn’t feel like a playlist like some weddings do). When the crowd started thinning on the dance floor, he always had the right song to get everybody back out there and having a good time. Mike was fantastic! He was our dj for my husband and I's wedding and we could be more happy with him. He was super easy to talk to, always responded to emails and phone calls in a timely manner, and just made the whole planning process stress free. All our guest had a great time dancing the night away, and you couldn't pull my husband and I off the dance floor that night! He made sure to play music that we liked and our guest would like, making sure there was a range of music for all of the different age groups and different cultures, for we had a large group of family from Brazil. We got married in a downpour and were afraid the wedding reception wouldn't be as fun as we had hoped...however DJStretch from Ignight entertainment was AMAZING! !!! You hire Mike for one simple reason: he knows how to DJ. No, I don't mean speak on a microphone and play songs off a Spotify playlist, I mean ACTUALLY DJ. I work in the wedding industry as a photographer, and the first time I worked alongside him I knew he was the real deal. Fast forward to 4 years later and when it was my turn to get married, there was no question who was going to spin on my big day. We couldn't be happier with the DJ services provided by Mike at our wedding! From our first meeting with him to the day of, he was great to work with. At our first meeting, he provided us with a questionnaire to complete with details about our wedding and the songs we wanted. This ensured that we were on the same page regarding the schedule for our wedding day and the exact songs we wanted. I emailed Mike several times before our wedding with questions and he always responded very promptly. On our wedding day, he arrived well before our ceremony began. He did a great job with the timing of the music and fading in and out. He also did a great job getting the party started and paying attention to the crowd to know what to play next to keep them on the floor. When the last song was over, the guests were begging him for more (but unfortunately our contracted time was up with our venue)! Mike does not simply play song after song; he does some awesome beat-mixing which gave our wedding reception the feel of a dance club! Throughout the night, he kept in communication with us as well as our venue event coordinator so that everything stayed on track.
