How can someone tell if their Garage is suitable for conversion?
It depends on what use the garage to be put to and whether it is integral or detached, has services running to it (e..g water, drainage, heating), whether there is already insulation in place, etc.
Run us through the different stages of the Garage conversion process - what's involved?
Assess the needs for the proposed use - e.g. is running water and drainage required, such as for a new utility room, what insulation level is required, additional security, etc.
Compare need to existing building to set schedule of works
Discuss schedule of works and associated costs with the customer
Execute works according to need
How can someone tell if their loft is suitable for conversion?
Principally dependent on exiting build up - more modern trusses with limited internal space are not usually cost effective to convert to to the need to completely remake the build up of the roof structure.
