Booked online and played today it was blowing a hooley friendly welcome and introduced to my playing partners, thanks for the good company gerry and ronny. Course shortened and a couple of winter greens but a lovely scenic course with views of the angel. I like the course its testing and interesting with lots of variety in types of hole. Course was in good condition , the greens are tricky to read ,especially if you haven't played it before ,so be prepared for the odd 3 putt !

Lovely well kept course, with great facilities. Good Food, even if you're not a golfing visitor.
Greens and Fairways are Immaculate, Rough is really rough.
Had to wait for groundskeepers a few times, but given the condition, that was fine.
Will be visiting again.

Had our wedding day/night reception here saturday 20th august and it was amazing!
Room was decorated to perfection exactly the way i had pictured it to be, peter had really listened to what we wanted thanks for that!
The flowers especially were gorgeous!
Everyone commented on how lovely the food was and how wonderfully presented it was hats off to the chef!
All the staff both day and night were super helpful nothing was a bother so thank you all!
Great atmosphere throughout the day then when the room was opened up and the dj began in the evening it was fab! Making sure everyone was involved and having a great time!

Myself and 3 friends booked a meal on Wednesday night.wasnt sure what to expect with the 2 course menu being very cheap.
We had the place to ourselfes but the food was excellent and the chef was very friendly coming out to have a chat with us and even giving away his mushy peas recipie The bar staff also very friendly, we will deffinetly be back

Wedding day reception here 8 years ago. Don't get up here that much but visited yesterday for food. Great specials board. £5 .95 for 2 courses or 3 courses for £6.95. A lot of people will not play this course because of its location. Please give it a go. You will not play on much better greens anywhere.
The course itself although not long is tight and good positioning off the tee is a must.
The hospitality in the bar was also first rate so golfers of the North East or anywhere for that matter take yourself along to Ravensworth. It's a challenge and you will be pleasantly surprised.
PS. It only cost me 12 quid.

What a beautiful course. I've just finished playing here for the first time with two of my mates and I've got to say I've never enjoyed a course as much as I have this one.
Despite the torrential downpour, we endured and I'm so glad we did. A beautiful course. We will be back for certain.
