I hired Richard to draw blueprints and apply for permits in Chicago on my own house that needed substantial remodeling. Did work with two different architects in the past and they were not only pricier but had no idea what they were doing. Charged me fees every time, including minor changes. They made mistakes on the blueprints which caused delays in receiving the permit. Richard was very easy to work with, listened to my needs/wants in having certain layouts throughout the house,and advised what was possible from a structural point of view. It didn't take long from the day he came out to look at the project until the plans were submitted to the city for review, and the plans approved. I even changed the plans during construction to a rather more difficult layout that might have compromised the whole project(including a substantial change in height). Richard re-submitted revised drawings and they got approved. His fees were very reasonable and communication was excellent. I was able to get ahold of Richard either through phone/text or email. If I left a voicemail he would call me back the same day and try to answer my questions. I recommend hiring Richard for you projects. His knowledgeable, respectful, and patient. More...

I have been working with Richard of Hunt & Hunt for many years.  We own a food manufacturing facility and now 2.  Over the years we have called on him for build-outs and all the plans for our new facility.  Bottom line - we needed something and he gave it to us as promised.  Multiple times. (new orders, revisions, changes, etc).It seems so simple but no one else seems to get it. 5 stars to Hunt & Hunt! More...
