My dog absolutely loves coming here for her weekly daycare visits and gets so excited when I tell her we are going to visit her "friends" on Wednesdays. The staff members are always welcoming and friendly and know all of the regular pups by name. The front desk employee was quick to call and notify me the time my dog got sick there so that I was able to keep an eye on her the rest of the evening when we got home. We enjoy the regular reports they provide us about her behavior, the live videos of the pups playing, and the themed holiday photos that Bark Park offers.I would definitely recommend sending your dog here as you can tell the employees definitely enjoy their jobs and treat each pet as their own. I worked at Houston Bark Park and Daycare for a few months and absolutely loved it. As soon as you get there, you are greeted with positive vibes and smiling faces. The staff here is truly passionate about their job and takes the time to get to know each and every pup that's at daycare. We make sure to constantly check up on dogs everyday to make sure their needs are met. You won't regret bringing your dog here, as your pup will have so much fun and be given so much love and attention. I can only begin by saying that Houston Bark Park is a second home for me and my fur babies.After a horrible experience at another local boarding facility, I was left looking for a trustworthy care facility for my two dogs. I had always been interested in HPB, but had not been able to get in due to capacity constraints (which is a great problem to have as they avoid over-crowding and ensure adequate employee to pet rations for maximum oversight and care). I called and the staff was incredibly friendly and scheduled a temperament test for my dogs, one of which is a hyperactive crazy Rhodesian Ridgeback, and the other who is a timid Border Collie with severe fear anxiety. I was worried that their unique personalities would be an issue, but the staff was incredible and provided me with updates throughout the day as well as a report-card with admission to the pack!Throughout the past two and a half years, our journey with Houston Bark Park has been incredible, and this is all due to the staff and their passion and love for the dogs. Casey has been monumental in her love for all of the pack and specially for my quirky girls. Below are a few examples of exactly why HBP is the best place to take your pets:1. The incredible team: From Casey to Joya to Patricia and to everyone whose names I should know given that they know the names of each and every single pet. Their friendly attitude through every interaction and their dedication to loving our pets is truly one of a kind. This is true customer service. Casey has been such a loving part of our furry family - not only has she patiently taken my dogs in, but she has been a trainer for them, a life-line in case of any issues, and overall such a kind and professional face for this establishment2. Dependability: The team has accommodated my dogs during natural disasters, cancelled flights, and personal emergencies without any questions. They fed and loved my dogs as if they were their own. So much so that my dogs are there every single week as I now have to travel for work, and there is no one else I would ever trust my dogs with. 3. Assurance: Not only has HBP cared for my pets, if there are every any issues (injuries, miss-billings, etc.) they are the first to correct the mistakes as they truly abide by their promise to the customers. Well, I just happened to be on yelp writing a review and stumbled across  the best doggy day care in Houston. I have been taking my 2 girls for over two years (that should be enough for a review)  and I have NEVER had any issues or complaints. The on-field staff as well as management are simply the best - attentive and caring. I have boarded my girls (short/long term) and I couldn't leave any happier and peace of mind than I always do. I know they get the utmost care and pampering.You have to take into consideration that it is a business and they have rules. If you're scheduled for a temperament test, it is for your pup to be monitored the entire day, not when the day has started. Price complaints? well, it is the cost of business and you get what you pay for; the best. The negative reviews you find on this business are completely false. I love these guys. I just saw a couple seeming bad ratings that I didn't bother to read. Because it makes no sense based on my experience with the Houston bark park. These guys are awesome. Competent and really nice to Sweet Pete (a needy 80 lbs of love and still a bit of a puppy to boot). And I'm a tough rater of all things that I pay for. Neither me or Pete have ever gotten any treatment but kindness (yeah; it takes a little understanding: me and Pete aren't the easiest clients ever) but they are so kind and just plain nice to us both. And Pete (who is a totally adoring puppy and loves to be with me ) - when we I pick him up after an overnight, he just lays down in front of the car door. I have have to cajole him into the car. While it hurts my feelings a little: I love to know that he's so happy to play and feels safe there: he's clearly treated so well, he doesn't even want to go to his favorite place at m home. Okay. I don't TOTALLY love it: but I'm grateful. The best pet care I've found after 8 years with a different dog in a different Houston care center and 1.5 years here with Pete. They're great. Olive had her first day of daycare today and absolutely loved it! The staff is so friendly and upbeat! Olive and I were greeted with big smiles-even at 7am. There is so much room for the pups to run around and I really like the “cool zone” feature for this Texas heat. I am SOOOO SOOO grateful for Houston Bark Park. This doggy day care manages to be extremely professional (I love that they require for pup vaccines to be up to date for attendance) and playful. You can tell that the staff loves what they do. This daycare is really great. It's efficient and organized. The cameras are a great addition. They have so many dogs playing well together and we like that the dogs have to pass a screening test. Great place for my Butternut (amstaff) she loves roaming free and playing with her friends.I looked at other places around town but as soon as I said she was a staffy, part of pitty family, the stereotype set in and they would automatically say she would have to be put alone and couldn't be with other dogs. That wasn't fair to my pup, she loves other dogs so I searched and found HBP, these people are professionals and understand that it's not about the breed that it's about the . Needless to say Butternut has been doing great going to HBP, she loves to roam free and play with her friends. The staff is great especially Joya, Lexi and Kasey, they take care of our babies so well and do an exceptional job.HBP is not close to me but I make the trip every time for my pups happiness, she loves it here and isn't stuck in a 10 x 10 box with a plexiglass wall with no grass or freedom, or alone in a cage, that's not daycare to me. We had always been reluctant to board Shelly, our 5 year old Brittany, UNTIL we experienced Bark Park! All of our concerns melted away. The staff greets her before they greet us, which speaks volumes about where their focus lies. She is always happy to go with the "caregiver" at drop off. Their blend of "canine commitment" and professionalism is clear. I'm impressed by the continuing education their employees attend. Houston Bark Park has been the best thing for my pup! He has anxiety around strangers, so I was nervous to take him to daycare, but all of the staff at Bark Park were so patient and understanding with him. After our second visit, Samantha knew where she was at and happy to go (happy it wasn't the vet office). I love that I can sneak in a peek on the cameras while at work. I've been to several doggie daycares due to location and I'm pretty happy with this one. Only wish I had (which I understand bc dogs my be possessive), they did fetch with the dogs. Our dog Annabelle loves going to Doggie Daycare! Being a vizsla she has to have room to run and play with friends. Bark park has the nicest staff and very clean facilities. We love the Bark Park and all of the employees we've interacted with there. Our dog, Olive, has been going to daycare there for over a year now and has boarded several times, and always comes back happy and tired! HBP has been my saving grace. My dog, Stella, becomes restless and lonely without interaction with other dogs, so we started bringing her to bark park once she was 5 months old. She now knows exactly where she is going once we get in the car in the mornings and sometimes sits by the front door of our house on bark park days, waiting to go. She smiles the whole drive there!
