What do you love most about your job?
I love being around animals and I enjoy the variety of being able to spend time in different, often stunning locations.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I began house sitting mainly because of a change in circumstances in my main career, transitioning from full-time employment to freelance, and found that I could manage both together in my schedule.
Why should our clients choose you?
Clients keep in touch with me after I have looked after their homes and pets because they know they can trust and rely on me while they are away so this helps them to relax fully on holiday knowing that everything is being taken care of. I also keep in regular contact for extra reassurance. I have many 5-star reviews from regular clients and referrals over the last 5 years and can provide additional written or verbal references.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
During the pandemic, when rules allowed me to house sit while homeowners were away; I adhered to Government guidelines and took necessary steps to ensure minimal risk of transmitting Covid 19 virus.
House & Pet Sitting
I will stay in your home for the agreed duration of time you are away. I will arrive the evening before or at a time pre-arranged on the day you depart in order to get to know each other and to allow time for you to brief me on your home and pets while you are away.
While you are away, I will keep in touch with you as much or as little as you feel comfortable, whether it's sending you photo updates of your pet, receiving/sending letters or parcels, managing tradespeople, watering indoor/outdoor plants, putting out household rubbish and recycling and any other general requirements.
At the end of the house sit, I generally wash bedding & towels, leaving the bedroom and house clean and tidy and I will post keys back through the letter box after locking your home up securely.
