HOTWORX is a virtual instructor-led exercise program created for users to experience the many benefits of infrared heat, while completing a 30-minute isometric workout or 15-min High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) workout. As the infrared heat penetrates your body causing you to sweat, the isometric postures further accelerate detoxification by physically removing the toxins from your organs through muscle contraction.

I'm giving a rating of 1 because there's no option to rate this business as 0, which it truly deserves. It's a complete fraud.
Please, for your own sake, steer clear. The management in St. Louis will gladly take your money and then completely abandon you. They are consistently absent, never answering the phone or returning calls, and there's no email provided to contact a manager or anyone of authority.
I had a lengthy membership in Texas and decided to switch to the Sweat-Everywhere plan for my new job in St. Louis, Missouri. However, I couldn't even step into the studio to begin my workouts because the door code was dysfunctional. After numerous attempts and frustrating visits to the studio, where I was met with a closed door, I finally managed to catch the manager one morning while they were there for a repair. We mutually agreed to terminate my contract and issue a refund. I left, thinking the matter was resolved. Yet, three months later, they're still charging me.
Hotworx lacks a central corporate entity to address client-related issues. Despite presenting themselves as a cohesive company, these studios are merely franchises. If you encounter a problem, you're essentially left to fend for yourself. It's a shameless display of incompetence and disregard for customer satisfaction.

First I want to say thatHotworx Studios are a great idea and very well run. For several months we enjoyed the workouts and I think they have a great product. The staff at the Riverton UT location are amazingly professional and very helpful and should be commended. However, some things have changed in our lives and the location we have been going to is not convenient. My initial thought was, we will take a break, and look into changing locations at some time down the road, as this is not a good time. However, when I went to cancel I was informed that we had a choice of 60 days’ notice or paying $99 to cancel today. We were informed that we were made aware of this at sign-up. I do not doubt that they did their job and shared this however I missed it and I am very irritated that their company feels they need to use such financial tactics and traps to try and keep their memberships. I regret that as good as Hotworx is I can no longer recommend membership and will actively seek to discourage individuals from joining this financial trap, things happen in people’s lives, things change and finances become difficult for people. What they are doing in my opinion is wrong. They should change their policies and allow people to walk away after their initial contract is up with no financial repercussions and perhaps even an incentive to come back. As is, their policy leaves a bad taste in someone’s mouth and not only discourages them from coming back but they like me become an active opponent of their product instead of a promoter I/they would be. their product can stand on its own, they do not need these tactics and in the long run, these policies are actually hurting Hotworx. If they change their policies I would gladly endorse Hotworx again and likely sign-up down the road at a closer location that they recently opened. I truly enjoyed the workouts. Unless you feel confident that you are ready for a lifelong commitment or willing to loos at least $100 to leave I recommend you look for a different option More...

I absolutely love love love HOTWORX. I took a Pilates/Yoga class as well Spin and it’s amazing!!! You still get an phenomenal workout but in a shorter amount of time. The staff is Awesome!!! They’re extremely nice, and they’re super knowledgeable about the products and the infrared saunas. As well as all of the benefits that infrared can offer you! I was a little nervous about the idea of working out in a sauna. I’m middle aged and not in very good shape. But, after 3 weeks, I am starting to see improvements. It’s convenient, since it’s always open. I can work out alone. And, compared to yoga studios or personal training studios, it is very affordable. Was originally going to leave a bad review because I was signed up by a worker who told me to skip the details of the contract because she had “told me everything. ” She had, in fact, left out that you must pay for at least three months and that there were some other fees associated with the membership like paying for the mat. However, I called the store to let them know they should be clearer about their business practices, and the manager was very helpful and even offered me two free months after my cancellation to make up for the fact, while assuring me that girl no longer works there. First of all I probably would not have had the courage to join if it wasn’t for Hailey at the front desk who is soooooo helpful and kind. I thought a place like HotWorx would be stinky and yuck with the sauna rooms, but it’s not like that at all. In fact most times when Hailey is there you’ll find her cleaning down the rooms. IM OBSESSED WITH THIS GYM!!! I recently moved here from Los Angeles and I went to core power there which is hot yoga. I was looking for a gym in the Oviedo/Orlando area with the same style but none of the hot yoga gyms around here were that good. Either the room wasn’t hot enough or the class wasn’t challenging. Let me tell you....this studio is HOT AF and the classes are intense!! And it’s so much more than hot yoga, I’m obsessed with the hot spin and rowing. I usually do a 15 minute HIIT class (row/spin) and follow it with a 30 minute ISO (yoga/warrior, etc). And when I walk out I am drenched in sweat! The workouts are quick, effective, and I feel so much better when I leave! Not to mention my skin is amazing because I sweat out all the crap i put on it every day! I’ve already gotten two of my friends to sign up with me and I’m working on two more! This place is great and affordable compared to other studios on the area!
