Homegrwon Hog Roast

My party was in march, it didn't stop us having a hog roast, Alice was brilliant with her suggestions at the venue and nothing was too much trouble, the food was amazing, it was the star of my party everyone is talking about it, if you're thinking of booking don't think, just do it, you will not be disappointed I can't big them up enough, thanks guys !

Hi guys, fancy doing a good deed for some good people? As most of you know Phil n I got married last Saturday n the wedding breakfast was catered by the amazing Alice & her team from Homegrown Hogroasts. The food n the service was outstanding - even my dad, yes my dad, the former trained chef & most difficult to please foodie I know, sought them out afterwards to compliment them n is still raving about them! Alice & her lovely mum even helped me solve a problem when I was decorating the marquee the day before n was on the verge of a mini meltdown. Above n beyond the call of duty! Fantastic food and beautifully presented. Thank you very much to Alice and the team at Homegrown hog roast for making the 60th wedding anniversary party a really great do!
I would highly recommend the crayfish filo tartlets with spicy avocado mousse. The little presentations, such as the condiments in the flower pots and the labels were a great touch.

I would just like to thank you both for the fantastic food and excellent service on Saturday for my sons 21st party. Even though the conditions were tough ! Torrential rain, thunder lightening and the deepest gravel in the world before you could even get into the barn. It was a huge success and you did an amazing job, not least to keep smiling ;-)

The crackling was lovely, the whole experience was brilliant !

Homegrown hospitality just catered my wedding and it was amazing. We had 100 guests and opted for the family sharing breakfast.
Our guests can't stop raving about the food, how great it was and how much food there was.
We loved the sharing platters and our guests really found it broke the ice.
Alice is a pleasure to work with and it was great to be able to share our special day with her.

If you are getting married or having a party and require catering I would recommend Homegrown and Alice above any others. More...

Alice and the team did our wedding food in our diy pig barn style wedding!! Alice was so helpful from day one! With me and my partner being unsure and worried Alice made us feel so secure and we found it so easy to trust her because food at your wedding is a big thing! ! I can honestly say Alice and her team will not disappoint!! I'm still now having people commenting on the food and how it was amazing and the best that they've had! Alice was there every step of the way and it all worked to how me and my partner visioned!! So thank you Alice and the team!!

Alice and team catered a gala party for Eureka! The National Children's Museum. The food was absolutely delicious and the service faultless.
We loved working with them. From the very beginning, they ensured every aspect of the catering was tailored to our needs, including the table decoration and crockery - we really appreciated this attention to detail. Alice was always on hand to answer any questions or make slight changes to plans.
As for the food...all we heard were rave reviews!! Our guests loved the informality of the grazing stations and being able to sample multiple dishes...it's always so hard to choose what you want when it all looks so mouthwatering. The presentation was sensational.
On the night, their staff were friendly and professional, and nothing was too much trouble. It was great to be able to relax and know everything was in safe hands.
They def went the extra mile for us and we look forward to working with them again in the future.

Alice and her fabulous team catered for our wedding in October. Alice has been amazing in the lead up with the planning of everything and answering every annoying email I sent! The tasting put us in high hopes and on the day the food was perfect. The team made sure we got canapés, and there was an abundance of food that meant everyone was well fed and happy. All the dietary requirements we're sorted without a hitch, everyone loved the food . The quality of the produce shone through and I couldn't have asked for a better caterer for our day. Alice and her team recently catered for the English Schools Cross Country Championships at Temple Newsam. The event attracted in excess of 5000 people from all corners of the Country.
From the moment I met Alice and Martin they were courteous and professional and knew exactly what we wanted.
All attendees left very happy and with the bellies full.

I couldn’t be more pleased with Alice & the team at Homegrown Hospitality, and the level of service they provided for our wedding was worth every penny. From the initial phone call to discuss options, right through to the day of the wedding nothing was too much trouble. Alice was happy to discuss and make changes to the menu as often as needed and was so accommodating with lots of (very tricky!) dietary requests. On the day, the team were so accommodating and made sure to track my husband and me down and make sure we both got to enjoy plenty of the canapés in-between photos and chatting with guests, which we were very grateful for! Many, many guests told us it was the best wedding food they had ever had! The sharing boards were not only delicious but also beautifully presented. The sharing style really got guests talking and complemented the relaxed atmosphere of the day that we wanted. I can't recommend Alice and the rest of the team highly enough!! More...

Alice well what can I say? The food stole the show at our wedding! incredible canapés , phenomenal wedding breakfast and people are still talking about it now! Your were first class from start to finish and I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending you! Thank you to you and all your staff for all your efforts, commitment and service ! Sandy - 50th Birthday Party March 2014

A huge 'Thank you'...almost as huge as the Hog Rolls our guests were seen munching at my husbands 50th! The hog roast exceeded all our expectations. The service from Alice & Martin from booking to the party night was absolutely superb; professional, cheerful but most importantly friendly & personable. No matter how many emails I fired at Alice before the party they were quickly answered & all requests were met in an friendly accommodating way, Anyone thinking of having a hog roast event would be missing out if they didn't book Alice & Martin to do the catering.
