What do you love most about your job?
I love problem solving, to me producing the most elegant, effective solution to a difficult programming problem is like completing a sudoku.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I started my own business building custom personal computers in 1997. At the time PCs where largely business orientated, and just starting to replace all in one computers from Commodore, Atari and Sinclair in the home. We built PCs that suited the need of the customer and provided an installation and quick introduction to the PC at a price similar to mail order manufacturers.
Why should our clients choose you?
I can produce apps for ios, Android and Windows as well as the back end website to serve information and communicate with the app. In the unlikely event your app requires something that I have not come across before I will learn to do it. For example, I produced an app to assist those with a visual impairment to read printed documents using the device camera to capture an image. It became apparent that it would be difficult for the user to capture a high quality image and the solution was to sell the app with a stand to mount the phone or tablet on. In order to produce the stand I had to learn to use 3D CAD tools and produce a prototype.
