A group of 50 of use had full run of the Timberlodge for the weekend and it was fantastic! Sleeping is in one of a number of bunk rooms (capacity of between 3 & 6 per room), with 4 showers (1 a handicap bathroom), sauna and drying room. The communal dining room sat all of us comfortably and the kitchen is large enough for 4 - 5 to work together.||The property is a 15-20 minute walk from the village, which has a Co-op grocery (it's bigger at the gas station), sweets shop and several pubs.||There is also a heated outdoor pool, but that is seasonal and wasn't open when we were there. Myself husband and 6 year old Son stayed for ten days in August we were not disappointed. The cabin was perfect plenty of space, quality bedding, comfortable beds, fresh and clean. Great to have the covered decking to sit out during the warm but wet weather. Within walking distance of Ingleton on main route or a lovely walk through the fields. Safe place for children our Son spent a lot of free time playing in the tree house and riding his bike with other children staying on site. The cabin we stayed in was great! The kitchen was well equipped, the whole place was clean and tidy and the location was perfect. The site is lovely and the kids playgrounds are a great added extra.||The only niggle would be the shower - power and heat are connected. If you want a cold/ warmish shower then the flow of water is good, but for me (someone that likes a warm/ hot shower) you lose a lot of the power with the water flow very low. However, this wouldn't put us off and we would definitely stay here again (in fact, looking at when we can get back already)||Wifi can be a bit slow - but we didn't mind this as our idea of a holiday is to get away from it all - so if you (or your kids) are glued to your devices you might find it a bit annoying. Number of people: 10||Booked for: The Yorkshire Three Peak weekend||In a sentence: Cozy for 10 or more, close to the town/shops but far enough for peace and quiet||||Ruth and Pete of Pinecroft, helped us from the booking stage all the way to arrival. We booked 'Holly'. It comfortably accommodated the 10 of us and with room to spare. We did not feel cramped and the facilities were perfect.||||BBQ? Yes||decent sized bathtub? Yes||Proper outdoor sitting area? Yes||Playground for kids (or drunk adults?) Yes||Comfy beds? Yes||||Lots of extra bedding, washing machine, dishwasher, all the amenities you'd want when it's a large group or just a couple. ||||We couldn't find any fault. The only recommendation is if you could put a small shelf for the top bunk bed. My friend who was in the top bunk wanted a small shelf to put his phone, water bottle etc and I think, although small, such an addition would make a huge difference to whoever sleeps there. More...

The cabins have everything you need. Washing machine and dryer on site if needed. Lovely and dark at night so you get a good sleep plus you can star gaze on a clear night, it's amazing how many stars you can see that you sometimes never really get to see at home due to the streetlights. Local amenities very good and a short drive or 10 to 25 minute walk away if you want the garage or the village itself. Meals can be delivered from a local business but think there is a minimum order. The local bakery is excellent and I'd recommend you visit. There are two small play areas in the centre of the site, you can keep an eye on the kids from your cabin and they are not near enough for you to be disturbed if you don't have kids with you. This keeps them entertained till almost dark on nice evenings. We've heard owls and seen small bats at night catching bugs which was great. Recommend this place for all the above and it's location makes it a great base for visiting lots of the attractions in the area. 5 's. More...

I've taken a party of blokes here on four occasions now to the Timberlodge. I can't fault it, it has everything we need to cater for around 30 blokes & the beds are cumfy. For the price it can't be beaten!

A visit to darkest Yorkshire in darkest February was never going to see the best of British weather, so the large group of us who gathered to celebrate a friend's birthday over a weekend were going to need somewhere large, comfortable and warm to stay. This site comprises a number of lodges, each catering to a different number of people. Ours, Timberlodge, is the largest, and so I can't speak for the others, but it met our needs very well. The lodge seems to sleep about thirty in a number of rooms for three or six people. The rooms are basic, but warm and comfortable, and the toilet and shower facilities seemed ample for our large group. There is a separate lounge (with TV) and an impressively large dining and kitchen area, with plenty of seating/tables that can be easily put to one side for floor space if required. The kitchen came equipped with all necessary appliances, crockery and cutlery. We also had use of a washing machine, ironing and cleaning equipment - basically, everything we needed bar food.||||The weather and the remoteness of the place meant that much of our time was spent at the lodge, but with it being big enough for everyone, as well as a comfortable place to stay, it afforded us a few great days. It was our first time to pinecroft and we stayed in the holly lodge which was brilliant, very spacious and clean it had everything in the lodge you require. Owners lovely and thanks to the young lady daughter of the owners who give us a lift to the falls to pick up my car which had broken down. Ingleton itself has a number of pubs which did bar meals and we ate at the masons arms (lovely steak pie) and at the wheat sheaf also good. Overall had a lovely time and would recommended this place without a doubt. Also just like to say the Holly lodge is suitable for the disabled with a ramp for getting in and out plus two bathrooms one of which is a wetroom although if the person cannot walk then you would need a wetchair. This was our 4th year in a row here, we love it! We stayed in Beech, we had 7 children in our cabin (aged 1-8) they all had great fun. The park was close by and they spent all day outside, it's so safe.|The log cabin is fab, so spacious and comfortable, everything you need. The toaster was not the best, I contacted Ruth and one was delivered to us instantly! |These cabins are fantastic, the bedrooms are comfortable and have plenty of room, we even had a travel|Cot in ours too! |A great place to visit, especially if you have children who have lots of energy, they can play out on the park or bikes and scooters all day! |Worth a visit! Wow what a great find! I booked this for my boyfriend's birthday. We all loved it so much everyone is recommending it and booking with families and friends. We stayed in spruce lodge which was very cosy and big enough for 6 people to stay. We used the BBQ every night, there's a picnic bench outside on which we enjoyed breakfast bathed in the morning sun. The kitchen had all the utensils we needed for a full Sunday roast. It's location is so close to the waterfalls trail and a quaint little village nearby which had all the amenities needed.
