I had previously used Holdem Removals for the first part of my move and had been very impressed with what they did so it was a natural choice to use them for the follow up move. After a brief run through of the requirements the 4 removal men worked on their own initiative but always asked for advice if something needed clarifying. Holdem removals are very customer oriented. I had a very pleasant experience from the enquiry point, through the quotation visit up to the removal day itself. Very very professional company. Everyone I spoke to was very helpful, answered any questions I had. The removal team was so well organised and skilled. Very nice to work with. They have not only moved me from one property to the other, they also disassembled and assembled few pieces of furniture due to their size. My wardrobe now is even better than it was before! The guys managed to fix few mistakes made during the original assembly. Watching them working was a very nice expierience. They was asking questions if unsure. They was also very careful with any fragile items. The move went smoothly and nothing got damaged at all. It was a very rainy day and they used floor protectors and also divided the move into 2 trips as it was local and that way we could make sure that the house items didn’t get wet and dirty, when transported with garden furnitures and items. The price wasn’t any higher than other quotes I had. The reason I chose Holdem removal was they were very responsive and came across as the most professional. Was very pleased with service provided by Holdem’s - they took my house contents into storage when I sold my home - and returned them when I moved into my new property. They were polite and respectful and were easy to contact when I needed their assistance. As I had experienced a family bereavement I only had a week’s notice of the completion of my property and then had to pack up the entire house on my own. The night before the removal I realised I had run out of packing material so needed to ask Holdem’s to supply some on the morning of the move. I did find them a lot more expensive compared to the packing supplies I had bought online. However if I need to move again I’d be very happy to use Holdem’s again - and to recommend them. More...
