Truly fantastic experience working with Everton and his team. Each year Colorado College hosts the Black Women's Formal and in 2018 High Grade Catering provided a delicious dinner for 50-70 people if I'm not mistaken. DAAAAAAANG! This truck is so good. They catered the Spartan Race today and I ordered a curry chicken burrito. Oh man it was so dang flavorful. The plantains really sealed the deal for me. WOWZERS!! Found this truck on Restaurants.com, they were on Fort Carson for the day for Freedom Fest (which we also didn't know about) and boy am I glad we found them. I am a pretty harsh critic... so when I tell you that you will find good food here, PLEASE TRUST ME!! The food is packed with flavor, especially the jerk wings. We also had the chicken curry, and the chicken burrito (family of 5, we all shared a little here and there). This is now one of my new favs in the Springs. Fantastic Jamaican food at affordable prices. Â They offer a relatively fixed menu with occasionally rotating specials and I always love trying their new additions. First of all - get the braised ox tail if they have it. Â It sounds weird but just chill and be open-minded; it's hard to scrape the meat off the bones, but my god - it's worth it. Â Get a side of rice and peas and some scotch bonnet hot sauce. Â A side of fried plantains and that's the perfect plate. Â You're welcome.The fried mac-n-cheese bites are delicious.The chicken curry wrap is great.The pork knuckles - it's certainly an acquired taste/texture and I haven't quite acquired it yet. It's my favorite food truck. The jerk tacos and curry are great. I tried them at ppihc fan fest 2017 and our two orders took maybe 8-10min but it wasn't very busy. Can't wait to find them again

I have no idea how long we waited for our food. I was famished, so it felt like forever. However, I know it was more than worth it. Having tasted it, I would have waited twice as long. The food was made fresh to order and was mouth watering delicious! High Grade brings their food trucks to my work location a couple of times per month. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu (especially mac n cheese bites or curry) BUT when they have the Jerk Cheesesteak on the menu, GET IT. My friends and I were lucky enough to eat at this food truck at the 2017 PPIHC Fan Fest. The food was downright awesome. I had the jerk chicken tacos and they were great, my buddy got the funnel cake fries and yellow curry. The braised ox tail was fantastic!!! The closest thing I could compare it to is a slow cooked brisket or pot roast, but with a teeny bit more fat and 100x the flavor. It comes with red beans and rice, as well as cabbage. You will NOT walk away hungry (but you might put yourself into a food coma). We had Everton Cameron prepare brisket for 45 people for a graduation party. As a kindness, he also provided some mashed potatoes with roasted green chile and cheddar cheese. During the party, I had multiple people tell me how delicious the meat was-more than a few said it was the best brisket that they had ever eaten. The mashed potatoes were a huge hit as well and there was hardly a spoonful left over! For our vegetarian friends, he brought some curry tofu and rice that was amazing-flavorful and rich. And even better the second day!Without a doubt, the party was a huge success due to the wonderful food that HighGrade Catering provided. High-Grade Jamaican FlavorColorado Springs Food Guy visited the High Grade Catering & Food Truck for dinner this evening. Â This food truck specializes in ethnic Jamaican cuisine . The truck was next to JAK's Brewing Co located on McLaughlin Rd in Peyton, CO. The food was authentic without a doubt and gave me a true sense of the culture. I sampled the curry lamb, the beef patty, the pork burrito, the ackee with saltfish sandwich, fried macaroni and cheese, and jerk chicken wings. First off, the shredded pork in the pork burrito was slow cooked to perfection, well-seasoned, and tender. The curry lamb tasted like chicken and was simply delicious and succulent and surprisingly not to spicy. Furthermore, the jerk chicken wings were big, juicy, and bursting with flavor. The highlights of my visit were the beef patty and ackee with saltfish sandwich. This is not only because they are staples in Jamaican cuisine, but because the ackee with saltfish tasted like homemade heaven! The beef patty was served up with plenty of spice and the crust was so flaky. The atmosphere was upbeat and customer service was excellent. The owner was very friendly and helpful.
