The members of Hiers-Baxley were very caring and helped us with last minute details and even found that we saved some money. I was very pleased with all of the preparations. They were there as soon as i arrived. They asked me at times if there was anything I needed. If there was something it was taken care of right away. I got many compliments on the way every thing was done. The people like the different Light Houses and the idea of the pictures on wall. This was the first time many of the people were in this building. They were very impressed. I would highly recommend this facility.

James and his support staff were amazing. After James job was finished we had to work with the United States Veterans Administration to secure some service documentation. As expected, the help at the VA was useless. We mentioned this to James there at Hiers and he picked up the ball and ran with it, working with the VA to resolve everything.While you never look forward to using their services, we were certainly glad they were there for us. Very kind and professional team.... Sadly, we had to make ‘the call’ from The Villages Hospice House/Cornerstone, when my dad passed away on a Sunday night. When I did a Google search from dad’s room, for ‘funeral homes near me’ thi Hiers-Baxley Funeral Home came up...So glad it did....
