Steve and I could not be more thrilled with our wedding photos. We loved Helens' style of photography as soon as we saw her work and our wedding photos are just stunning. Helen has beautifully captured some very special moments that we don't even remember from the day! We honestly didn't even realise Helen was there taking most of the photos, she must have an invisibility cloak!!....but the results are amazing. The weather was pretty awful on the day but Helen was up for anything and we ventured down to the estuary for probably the wettest and windiest wedding photos ever but they are beautiful, unique, hilarious and a wonderful memory of the day. My partner Rob and I were gifted a voucher at our engagement party for a couples photo shoot with Helen and as I'm obsessed with capturing photos of special memories we were really excited. Helen was so friendly and made us feel really comfortable - even though we dragged her out on a freezing February day for an outdoor shoot! We have had the pleaseure of Helen being our photographer for our weddings and then a family newborn shoot (which our dog even sneaked in) and two christenings.
The guests always comment on her lovely manner and how at ease she makes them feel.

This summer, Helen took the most wonderful photographs of our woodland wedding. We couldn't have been happier with the results. I don't think it was the easiest job since it wasn't a very traditional wedding event but Helen was so good at mingling in with our guests and getting some wonderful shots without being at all conspicuous. Helen was our photographer for our wedding, and we were both extremely happy with the job she did. On the day she was professional and also very nice and friendly and made us feel comfortable. She managed to take lots of lovely photos, and did so in a way that was discreet and which made everyone feel at ease. As for the actual photos, they were brilliant! Helen is a talented photographer with a good eye for detail. She achieved a range of both artistic photos that beautifully captured the scenery and moments, and also more traditional wedding photos, and special requests. She was very well organized and professional through the whole process and she has certainly given us many lovely memories to treasure from our special day. Beautiful, stunning photos of the children (I think children are extremely hard to take) in both portraits and natural. So I don't think that I can thank or recommend Helen highly enough. You will not be disappointed! Before the day we met her for a photo shoot so that we all got to know each other - Helen could meet us as a couple, we could practice certain poses which at the time felt strange but then on the day felt more natural and led to some good photos. We then sat down and chatted about how the wedding day was planned, what photos she recommends and which ones we wanted, how long photos generally take to take so we didn't spend the whole day just having photos done! And any other points e.g. we didn't to leave the church too late because we were having photos done so Helen was also going to be timekeeper to some degree! On the day itself, Helen was punctual , highly professional with enough kit to take photos but not so that it intruded in any way on our day. She took a variety of types of photos, posed, candid and also what I call "different shots, e.g. reflections through a pictures or a wine glass which gave us some truly personal and wonderful photos. She never took us away from our guests - instead took opportunities as they arose to get some couple shots e.g. while others sitting down for dinner. We then got all the photos in a timely manner online and on a memory stick with black and white options. The photos are simply wonderful (even I look good so she must be good!) From the first moment we looked at Helen's work she was our favourite, then when we met her in person we knew she was the photographer we wanted for our special day. Helen's style perfectly matched what we wanted in a wedding photographer, not cheesy and took posed as well as candid photos. A month and a bit before the wedding we did a pre-wedding shoot, to get ourselves 'used' to each other, using her grounds as a beautiful backdrop, the photos she captured were stunning! When it came to the actual wedding day, she was on time and really made the effort to remember everyone's names and roles within the wedding. From the minute we met Helen, Mark and I knew we'd found our photographer. She was calm and clearly very creative and the the portfolio she showed us was stunning. We were lucky enough to have a pre-wedding shoot with Helen. The photos of that shoot made us all the more excited for the wedding, a lovely little pre wedding treat in all the planning madness and a great reminder of why we were getting married in the first place! On the day Helen was wonderful combination of calming and funny, knowing just which to be and when. While the girls and I got ready she managed to capture some great shots and we were barely aware of her being there. It made us all so much more relaxed not feeling like we were on show. The shots of everyone arriving at the church are some of my favorites, and we adore the errant dogs, photo bombing vicar and hysterics when the hymn lyrics didn't match the tune! These are some of our favorite memories of the day and Helen just had the intuition to know what to capture so we will never forget them.We are both a little addicted to looking at the photos of the day and are so grateful to Helen for providing such a beautiful selection or posed, natural, funny, emotive and action shots. We asked Helen to photograph our wedding after receiving a good recommendation from another photographer who wasn't available on that date, and we were not disappointed. Right from the first meeting she had been very professional, friendly and made us both feel at ease. Helen's style of working seems different somehow, she is very calm, unobtrusive and knows how to organise her working process so not to disturb the guests or the couple. Prior to the wedding we received a drawn up plan of the family photos, which Helen created in order to take up as little of our precious wedding reception time. On the day Helen arrived early to photograph me and the bridesmaids getting ready. Throughout all the chaos and the setting up of the venue, Helen managed to capture all the fun and notable moments. We took some time finding a photographer for our wedding. My (now) husband and I knew exactly the style of photos we wanted. ..we wanted the essence of our day capturing without spending hours posing for unnatural photos and missing the day!! Helen was recommended by a friend and when we looked at her website her photos were exactly what we were after. We contacted Helen and went over to meet her. We warmed to her immediately and liked her work, however decided we should go away and talk it through....we got to the end of her drive before we decided to book her!! So turned the car around and paid the deposit! About a month before the wedding we met Helen, for a pre-wedding photo shoot. We are not the most comfortable people in front of a camera but Helen very quickly put us at ease, and gave us very needed advice for the best photos. I would very much recommend the pre-wedding shoot for this reason. Then it came to the wedding day....Helen was ultra-professional, yet warm and friendly. It was after some persuasion that my partner relented and agreed to meet a photographer with the view to having official pictures taken of our wedding. We meet Helen at her home to bounce around ideas and to get to know her, she put us both at ease and it felt like we were old friends. Helen was our photgrapher for our wedding. She is amazing. She has captured all those special moments and I keep looking through the photos over and over again so I can relive it.
