Very helpful and patient as my dog doesn't line visiting the vets. Staff very friendly and kind.

Our cat Coco was treated very well. They dealt quickly with the immediate problem (long claws) and made her feel safe and relaxed. They also identified further issues which need considering, and rang us with helpful information. I can full recommend them. More...

Such a lovely vet. Just joined this vets after moving and they were so lovely and welcoming giving honey lots of treats and recommending all the best things for her sensitive skin! Also very affordable. Highly recommended!

I have been bringing my cat here since she was a kitten. She's now 20!
So warm and welcoming at Village Vet. They really do care about our pets. I trust them implicitly and wouldn't go anywhere else. Also, its always nice to see Nellie and the occasional glimpse of Alan the hedghog. Would highly recommend to anyone who wants their vet to care as much about your pet as you do. More...

I have had a good experience of the vets at Village Vet Southgate, some have gone above and beyond by responding to my many worries and concerns with patience and kindness. I am extremely grateful for that. It is cat friendly, they have a felliway diffuser plugged in at all times and the vets I have seen have cats themselves, this is great for me being a cat owner. The atmosphere is always calm when I go there, which is another thing that is great, having a cat that hates vet trips. It makes it a little easier.
And for a completely honest review: I have at times been made to feel uncomfortable too, but on the whole my experience has been good and I appreciate the work both the vets and nurses do.
I joined village vet Southgate because I wanted no less then the best for my cats, and I had a great experience when I had to bring in a family of foster kittens that had flu, the vet who cared for them was brilliant. And for the most part, I am happy with my choice. I trust the vets there fully in caring for my cats, so I can’t ask for more. Thank you.

Always caring and compassionate about my dog and towards us but I can’t help feeling that it is grossly overpriced. For people who can’t afford insurance premiums they would be unable to take their pet here for help. Even if you have money it can cause a lot of hardship but people with little must find themselves constantly in a terrible situation where they either have to refuse treatment for their beloved pet or put themselves in financial jeopardy to be able to pay for treatment. The bottom line is that caring medically for your pet is reserved for the privileged few and everyone else has to get to the back of the queue at the PDSA. More...

Friendly, helpful and totally professional. A great all round service. Lovely people too. A special mention for Zara who is so patient with me and is tireless in her search for solutions to Harry's ear problems.

Zara and her team have looked after my two feline fur babies for almost four years now. Zara is amazing ... she has provided care and advice for Coco's cat flu and Oreo's bladder problems. Definitely recommended.

Wonderful care from all at Village Vet Southgate for our cat. He's now 17 and has had some serious health issues over the years. Zara has always given us the information we've needed to make decisions and is good at listening to us too. All the staff are kind and welcoming. More...

We have been with Village Vet Southgate for four years now and think they are absolutely fantastic. Our cat has required a lot of treatment and Zara and the rest of the team have been brilliant; most importantly excellent care but also clear communication and great organisation with regards to both medicines and appointment schedules. I wholeheartedly recommend the practice. More...

'Barbara was excellent! Can't thank her enough, I had a family of foster kittens with mum who had cat flu and Barbara was amazingly supportive and helped me care for them right, even after my appointment over the phone. I have also had a great experience of calling in and talking to the receptionists on many occasions about concerns. All of them (including the winchmore hill branch I should add) were so kind, patient, knowledgable, reassuring, supportive etc. Really great experience all round! Thank you More...

I cannot speak highly enough of the vets, nurses and all of the support staff in this practice. They not only treat their patients but they genuinely care for them too. My cat Smokey, who has multiple health issues, could not be in better or safer hands. If you are looking for the perfect vet practice then look no further. This is definitely it! More...

Zara at Village Vet Southgate has over many years exhibited an exceptional level of care and concern in treating my cats. Her loving concern and treatment suggestions were, I believe, an important factor, in enabling my one cat, Archie to, live for over three years after a scan carried out by an expert had given him weeks to live . She continues to regularly treat with loving consideration my other cat who is very elderly and has multiple serious medical problems. I would add that as a recently retired Judge with over 34 years experience in several jurisdictions, I am not given to offering praise unless it is warranted. More...
