I am a professional wedding photographer based in Hertfordshire. Heartwood Photography is basically me, Graham Branch, an experienced photographer with some 25 years in the business. I obtained a City & Guilds in Photography back in 1991 and started working for a local professional wedding photographer – using film in those days!

Graham took photos of a family Christening for us. We are absolutely delighted with the results. Graham has managed to capture the occasion perfectly. From the Church Service right through to the reception and lunch at a local hotel. He is so easy to talk to and we discussed before hand what we were wanting. What do you love most about your job?
Being involved in someone's big day, watching and recording the events that unfold, and then receiving positive feedback at the end!
What inspired you to start your own business?
I wanted to be able to improve and grow on my existing photography skills. I am a highly experienced photographer who just does not get to use the breadth of experience in my day job as a Forensic Photographer. I enjoy the ability to go out and take photographs in a variety of settings, with a variety of people.
Why should our clients choose you?
I am an easy going, laid back individual who understands the importance of good photography on your wedding day. It was something I spent money on for my wedding day as I was well aware that the photographs are all that remains after the day has finished. I ensure that I understand exactly what you are looking for and have an open communication right up until the big day and afterwards!
