Heart of the Beat provided the disco for my 50th birthday last Saturday which was held in a marquee . Throughout John was excellent at communicating and being helpful . He had suggested a playlist and I used some example playlists on the website . The lights and sound of the music was excellent and John and his daughters were fabulous , selecting a great mix of songs to cater for all ages /tastes and ensured everyone was up dancing .They were also very flexible about staying longer to keep the party going . What a lovely, helpful person John is. He went out of his way to ensure he had exactly the music my 13yr old daughter & her friends enjoy. The children are still commenting on how great the party was, which is all thanks to John & his skills as a DJ.

Very professional and able to provide music for ALL guests

Fantastic night with John at the Decks. He was very open to taking requests and playing a mixture of great music which pleased everyone in our rather diverse crowd. Highly recommended!

We had hired a karaoke machine for a party with around 65 guests in our garden, from Heart Of the Beat. It was the best thing we did, as it catered for all ages. John also added quite a few songs to his playlist for my son's. He was prompt on his arrival to set up and took time to teach us how to use the system, which was user friendly. We were also able to play background music by attaching our own devices eg Ipad's/phones/MP3 players etc. There was enough cable to place the speakers in our garden. As the time drew into the evening we were also able to make use of the lights that they supplied for us, which just plug in anywhere. John provided us with a night to remember, our Staff Spring Ball was a huge success, John played a great variety of music from the Classic Motown right upto the present day, requests were not a problem either, he was able to cater to everyones tastes. It was a pleasure to work with John, I had a great 40th birthday party and he played a great mixture of up to date music and club classics not to mention our requests!

John from Heart of the Beat was the prefect DJ for my 21st birthday! Having sent me some suggested playlists, I was able to hand pick the songs I wanted, and he was able to play all the requests from my guests on the night.
His set up was professional but did not stick out in the venue, and the lighting system was a great addition t the atmosphere.

Perfect DJ for Wedding! They played all of the songs we had on our wedding play list - and more importantly didn't play any of the songs that we had on the "don't play" list! Even before the party he was so accomodating when discussing all the music i wanted.And he did not miss a single song.Well only one but that was because it got to 1am and they chucked us out before our last song finale!!And when i met him on the night i can tell you that you are dealing with such a nice guy who could not have done more and made the night special.In fact he is one of the reasons i am doing another party this year.I just would not to it without him.Do not look any further.He is the man for the occasion!!
