We have an anxious and very fearful dog that needed mid-day walking. Given that we had recently moved, our dog’s anxiety and fearfulness was compounded. We met with John, owner of Heads and Tails ATX, about walking our dog. From the get-go, John made us feel very comfortable about assures about his services and that he would be able to handle an anxious and fearful dog. We did a few test runs and John exceeded any expectation. It is reassuring knowing that our dog, who is a (very needy) member of our family, is in excellent hands. John and Mary have been so awesome! I started a new teaching job last minute in August and was in a time crunch finding a dog sitter for my new puppy. John replied to my email immediately and came over that evening to meet Hank. Mary has been nothing short of amazing- comes at a timely manner and actually plays with Hank for the entirety of the visit. We have used this company many times and cannot say how amazing the company and workers truly are! John met with us prior to our vacation and got to know the dogs and cat! We have used his services many of times since and there was even availability at short notice! I enjoy the many updates while away and the pictures provided. You can genuinely tell he cares and loves his job working with animals. We have two large dogs and he is able to walk them with ease ( which is a hard task even for two people). Heads & Tails has been far and above the best care for my pups when I've been away on business or travel. They've saved my behind more times than I can recall with last minute bookings and never complain! Their rates are perfect for my needs and their timeliness is always impeccably perfect!! The addition of the online functionality for making appointments, payments, vet history etc. has been one of the best additional features added!! Seeing photos of my pups while I'm away gives me more reassurance that they are in amazing hands while I'm worlds apart from them. John and Team do such a wonderful job time and time again. John from Heads and Tails walked our two large goldendoodles for a few days this last weekend while we were out of town. Not only did he accommodate them at the last minute over a holiday weekend, but he even gave them a full hour each day!  We have had other walkers in the past who didn't know about our nanny cams and had disappointed us (and our pooches). John and his team were super professional and on point! The dogs were walked for the full hour at least and they always came back exhausted! I would absolutely recommend them 100%! He's very professional when it comes to scheduling and reminders, and he accepts payment through all types/sorts. .. Makes it effortless for me. He sends great shots and videos of my girls too! Exceptional service!John is my walker/sitter and he is great! He is punctual, responds promptly to my emails and texts, and is very polite.
