I had been going to the gym for a while, concentrating on cardio - treadmill, bike and crosstrainer etc and was getting a bit bored. I wondered whether seeing a Personal Trainer would be worth a go. I am so pleased that I started to see Elliott back in the summer last year. After recently having an operation, I was slightly concerned about doing anything other than cardio, but since the first day Elliott has given me confidence, guidance and reassurance. Following both dietary and workout guidance from Elliott, within 4 months I lost 2 stone in weight, becoming lean, shedding body fat and gaining muscle mass. Elliott has also ignited a renewed interest and love of food, trying out new foods and understanding the importance of nutritional content. Trying out new recipes first, before cooking them for my family and developing their eating habits too.Elliott has provided me with great support, guidance, knowledge and patience - whilst helping me to progress and develop both physically and personally.I always look forward to my sessions at the gym and so surprised at what I am able to achieve, beyond what I thought I ever could!Elliott has not only helped me to feel healthier, have more energy, but has given me more self-confidence.I know that I am on a journey, but so glad that Elliott is showing me the way to go. Elliott was a brilliant trainer. Not only did he help me improve my physical form, but was also there to help me mentally get back into sport and training methods. During our 2 month training sessions I managed to drop down a whole size and town up exactly as I had asked. Elliott gave me the confidence needed to challenge myself physically in a way I hadn’t in years! I've trained with Elliott for a long time - through 2 babies, a few injuries and some fluctuating levels of motivation. His knowledge is extensive, he will help you achieve your goals, he will not let you get away with wasting your own time and money.

Elliott has excellent knowledge of both nutrition and weightlifting, and in the short amount of time i have been training with him, my lifts have gone up, my diet has gotten better and i've gained weight. He trains you hard and you get results, its as simple as that. More...

I wasn't a stranger to the gym when I started my sessions with Elliott but it soon became apparent that I had been investing my time on the wrong type of exercises to achieve the results I wanted. Elliott opened my eyes to the joy of weights, with his vast knowledge, patience and encouragement I am now well on my way to achieving my goals. Never have I met anyone who knows the names of so many muscles in the body.. Hayes Health and Fitness offers a brilliant service and Elliott is a fantastic personal trainer!He helped me a few years back lose 6 stone in weight and is now helping me to build muscle and tone up. I was overweight during most of my childhood and throughout my teenage years. After trying every single diet and exercise routine out there, I finally joined the gym and was approached by Elliott. Boy am I glad he did. After just 6 months I was 6 stone lighter and this was through just 1 personal training session per week. (I was meant to go on my own too but rarely did and the weight still fell off).I had to give it up for a few years but now I am back. I’ve seen results very quickly this time as well and am a completely different person. My confidence has skyrocketed, anxiety has reduced and I am constantly receiving compliments from friends and family about how much better I look.Elliott is a wealth of knowledge when it comes to fitness and nutrition. He listens to what you want to achieve and develops a workout plan that will get you those results. As far as nutrition, what I like is that rather than give you a strict meal plan to follow, Elliott gave me the tools necessary to build a diet plan of my own using the foods that I like to eat. There is nothing worse than trying to choke down something that you don’t enjoy which makes food a chore. Also through doing this, I am becoming more knowledgeable and find my friends asking me for help with their fitness goals. This makes the whole process become second nature and a much more enjoyable experience.Elliott is also very sociable. I talk to him about lots of different subjects in between sets and his advice has helped me on numerous occasions. This puts you at ease immediately and I never feel awkward. I was first put into contact with Elliott via a friends recommendation as I was having quite severe lower back trouble.
Being a very independent ex Army man I find it hard to be told to do this and do that with small weights and weak looking stretches, however Elliott gave me re-assurance that no one would think any lesser of me so I allowed him to take control and begin my re-hab.
Wow ! this guy knows his stuff as within two weeks my mobility had improved 3 fold and I was onto proper weights (this was due to the expertise and superb knowledge that Elliott possess with regards to understanding a clients individual needs and knowing every bone, muscle and nerve that the body has and his ability to stretch the body to its correct limits).
I continued with Elliott for 6 months but then due to work commitments regrettably I had to quit, but I had got my fitness back dropped 6 kg but most importantly had "NO back pain"
18 months ago my right knee totally collapsed in a skiing accident and so I had MAJOR surgery and my surgeon informed me I would not be able to play golf for 6 months or ski for 2 years !!! Bloody hell, life over.
Ten days after the op I contacted Elliott who gave me wonderful physio(from his own home) he was so good that I was back in the gym under his guidance within 5 weeks, I had my 3 month check with my surgeon and he was so impressed that he actually asked who had performed my physio and that I was to tell him that he had done a tremendous job (which included reduced scarring).
I was back playing golf in 4 months and was Skiing in Slovakia in 8 months "strapped yes but skiing free of pain and running my beloved black runs"
In short I am indebted to Elliott and could not HIGHLY recommend him enough to anyone willing to "listen" and put the "effort" in as he WILL get you results !!! Cheers n cheers Elliot ... Ian

I started training on and off in the gym was I was 14, just doing the standard teenager workout- chest, chest, arms and a little more chest. After I gave it up I took it back up again and joined phase one, during my time there I got to know Elliott and he helped me on more occasions then I can't begin to list- this was before I ever even hired his services. After getting to know Elliot's competitive history I started to change my views from obnoxiously training for vanity and decided to take a page out of Elliott's very well written book by trying to better myself and push myself past my limits and out of my comfort zone to achieve something and put my, seemingly obsessive, hobby to good use. After a while I realised I wanted to compete but there was no way I was going to reach my goal without some help, so I thought about the help I needed and naturally aqquiring Elliott's outstanding services would be the perfect way to go about helping myself.
Elliott's services go beyond the usual, everything is covered when you use him from diet plans to training plans to even gaining in depth knowledge on the physiological side of everything and learning about the biomechanics. As well as being incredibly interesting Elliott's personality is one that leaves you wanting more sessions every week! If you're looking for someone to help you with any form of fitness goals- Elliott is definitely, without a doubt, the man to go too. His efforts are outstanding and he will always try and suit you and your time schedule despite having a super busy one himself. As well as being incredibly professional and making sure your sessions are 99% hard work and 1% chat, he still makes you feel as if you're training with a friend- he definitely deviates from the americanised form of training involving shouting and overreacting. He will passively push you to better yourself and achieve your goals without being aggressive or causing you to feel uncomfortable at all.

I decided a while back that I needed to increase my fitness levels and lose weight, so like many others I took out a gym membership. This worked to a point, but I felt that I needed further guidance and encouragement to meet my goals.I started a course of personal training sessions with Elliott and saw improvements from the start.My weight loss was steady and following his advise I have managed to keep the weight off. I have been training with Elliot for a couple of years now. I really enjoy my training, which is changed on a regular basis. I first started training with Elliot after I had a frozen shoulder. I was on the brink of going away on my travels and had a few extra pounds that I needed to shed. Elliot was a huge help and completely changed my mindset regarding the food I was eating and the regular fitness I was doing.
