Very dissatisfied with recent full groom of my golden doodle . Pricey yes consistently good no ! My dog developed a cough and ear infections.

I am now a forever customer! First of all, I desperately needed my dog groomed before the holidays and they were able to fit me in next day! ! (AWESOME) They made it super easy to just email over my dogs shot records and get the appointment. Then once I got there, the staff was super friendly and didn't make me feel bad about my hot mess of a dog. Solid start! The grooming was super quick and the BEST part is my dog looks incredible!! I have a Havanese, which some people can absolutely butcher (many have throughout the years) but Sarah did an INCREDIBLE job! Sooooo happy to have found Sara and Haute Dog Pet Spa! When I first moved to Austin 7 years ago, I reluctantly took my fur baby to one of those big P named stores for grooming out of necessity. Actually kept going there because the first groomer and dog E became fast best friends. Well... E's bromance ended when the groomer left the store. The last time we took him there, it was very apparent the staff didn't give a poo about D.O.G.s. :(So, thanks to a little word of mouth, and good ol' Yelp again, called big P store and cancelled the same day and got in with HDPS. :)E is short-haired anyway, but we like to get him a high and tight buzz cut. Lol. Sara did the best job EVER on E. Sara, and the rest of the staff, really love pups of all kinds and took special care with almost 15 year old E. He even got to play and snuggle with other dogs while he was there. :DVery reasonable prices and he came home with an adorable hand -made holiday bow on. My handsome fellow! Now, if I can only get Sara to die his face back to black to take off some visual years. Haha! No, he's still and will always be the love of my life. We recently relocated from GA with our three dogs. We tried two different groomers before finding Haute Dog. They are FANTASTIC! ! Our dogs are super clean, well trimmed and were ready when promised. My groomer of 8 years moved their shop about an hour away, so I had to find a new groomer. I have a Shih Tzu, and well, their haircuts can easily get butchered! I was a bit nervous at first, but SUPER happy with the results. This will be my forever groomer (unless they move their shop an hour away)! My prior groomer did a great job, and didn't think my pup could look any cuter. BUT Sarah made Gracie even cuter! The owner, Sherry, was very friendly on the phone and in person. Update. My Dugan is 12 years old, and has arthritis in his legs. Today, he not only received the very best groom, but also was treated with extreme care and love. Sara groomed him today, and as I mentioned, did a perfect job. What brought tears to my eyes is that she lifted him off the grooming table to make sure not to hurt his legs. Dugan is 68 pounds. I started coming here last week and I am truly amazed and so so grateful for the people here. Every time I walk in the animals look so happy. We boarded our family dogs at Haute Dog for 6 days, they are staffed around the clock so our pups got plenty of attention exercise and love. Both our dogs are rescues with anxiety so we really appreciated the homey atmosphere and special bond they were able to form with caregivers. They carefully found each dog perfectly suited playmates and they returned relaxed and happy. Do not hesitate to use Haute Dog for boarding or daycare. Cheri and Jason and their staff are wonderful!! I really enjoy taking my dog to this place. They do a very detail job on the cleaning and the cost is more reasonable than the dog wash place closer to my home. The owners and the employee are all all friendly. They make me feel comfortable leaving my dog there and makes my dog feel loved. If ANYONE in the lakeway area is looking for an amazing place to get their dog bathed/ groomed I 100% recommend Haute Dog Pet Spa! The owner is absolutely amazing any my dogs love her! Charlie even let her pick him up and gave her kisses! If anyone knows char he’s a scaredy and is terrified of new people. to see that interaction is absolutely amazing. She has 4 tubs for a self help self wash station! She also offers the force dryers! I’m very thankful to have this new permanent place to give Boo a deshedding bath and blow out his coat! We are huge fans of Haute Dog and Sherry! We took our SpringerDoodle for a bath. He looked like a show dog when Sherry was finished with him! Clean (no perfume, just clean. We love that), fluffy, happy - just an A#1 job! She has a wonderful dogcentric personality. We will be going back when Dugan needs to be groomed. Phenomenal service! They treated both of my girls like family. Sofie is my shy girl who stresses very easily. That was not the case with Haute Dog! Both of my girls, Sofie and Sunshine, were happy and stress free when I returned. Not to mention their coats look gorgeous. I really appreciate the fact that they speak to my dogs like humans. They are my kids and I love that the owner understands that they just need some love and attention and they'll calm right down. Cheri has a special touch with the pets, just a special spirit and great love for animals that really shows in the way they are drawn to her. Super cute place and the owner is very nice and made our highly nervous dog feel very comfortable. We brought our Blue Lacy mix just for a nail trim, we were in and out in less than 10 minutes. We will definitely be back.

Haute Dog is close, the initial "puppy cut" is only $15, and Cheri has an incredible talent for dog grooming. There's also a reasonably priced DIY option if you don't want your bathroom stinking like wet dog.

Love this place!!! I have a small dog who needs a nail trim regularly. Sherry takes the time to smooth out his nails rather than just doing a quick jagged trim. Great price and darling atmosphere! If you live in Steiner Ranch head down to Lakeway for the best groomer I have found! More...

Haute Dog is a great place to wash your own dog and they also will groom and bathe your pet for you. We have a German Shepard and she doesn't mind it when we give her baths so we like to take her to DIY dog wash places. Unfortunately, there was not a dog wash store near us until I found Haute Dog driving by it on 620! The store is very clean and they offer great quality shampoos, conditioners, ear wash and face wash! They have multiple dog washing stations and offer towels and individual industrial blow dryers that work extremely well and fast! The owner was very nice and the prices are very fair! Haute Dog was a pleasant surprise, this is a new facility at an old location of a place called dirty dog. The equipment is new and modern the tubs were designed for easy access. The owner, Cheryl Halla, was there and took excellent care of us. She took quite a bit of time to answer questions and give us suggestions on how to better bathe our dog.
